In Teresa's passport saga 1979, Japan mainly wanted to determine legality. First, was her Indonesian passport an authentic document? Second, was it legally obtained? After conducting a judicial review, Japan was more than satisfied and therefore cleared her. For Taiwan, it's somewhat embarrassing. It's kind of like its passport wasn't good enough. To pledge her loyalty to Taiwan, and partly because of her family background, in 1981 Teresa volunteered to join the military training for a whole month, giving up her lucrative touring business. Not only was she unpaid, she had to pay for all the expenses herself. She became one of them. During that period, she gave two army officers a kiss on the cheek. This was one 0:23. In 2013, this then-lieutenant was interviewed 0:45. He said when it happened, he couldn't believe it. When he came to his senses, it was all over. He said it'll remain a beautiful memory for the rest of his life. The other army officer who received her kiss said he didn't clean that side of his face for 3 days. Till her passing, Teresa continued to volunteer for the Armed Forces. She held the title as the "Eternal Lover" of the Taiwanese Armed Forces.

沒像鄧麗君那麽熱情平易近人。所以阿兵哥都乖乖坐在椅子上看。干。還是木制老舊的椅子。但是感覺就很幸福了。畢竟金門放假都窩在小店看重播的電影。要看電影還要跑到山外去。
