They really used an animation or sort of edit in the slide of the glass slab at 35:00 , you notice how when his hand moves into blue region it enlarges showing that it literally showed properties of a glass slab. Hats off

A medium in which the speed of light is more is known as an optically rarer medium. Air is an optically rarer medium as compared to glass and water. A medium in which the speed of light is less is known as an optically denser medium.
