I used to work at a restaurant owned and operated by a chef with multiple years of experience in fine dining, she would do the same exact thing that Erin said the chef at the jewish restaurant did. When people wanted something changed on their food she would always put it on the side and have them try it. 9 time out of 10 the customer ended up liking it

They acknowledge that he says problematic things but he’s also the person with the most power in the office so nobody can say much. If anyone’s the true villain it’s Toby for not doing his job as HR to keep the boss in check
