Mine is Nanahira. I just can't take it anymore after listening to her song for so long. I still have nightmares after completing a full album chart of Force!
The only missed one would be trill I think. With also that sort of trill but it's on the same column I don't remember the name of. Also the judgement line is also a circle in Rotaeno.
Thanks, this is super helpful as someone who's just started branching out in the Rhythm Game community. (the references to Phigros's quality of being Phigros were quite funny)
while im here terminology for note patterns!! (2k = 2key, 4k = 4key) stream (2k/4k) - basic spam of notes that alternate hands, can come in different styles depending on speed (ex: 8th, 16th, 24th stream) trill (2k/4k) - a steam but on two repeating lanes, classification is the same as a stream jack (2k/4k) - a spam of notes on a single lane, can come either as a one-hand jack (2k/4k) or two-handed (2k) stair (4k) - note pattern that uses all lanes, looks like a staircase burst (2k/4k) - a burst of notes, thats it soundwitch pattern (2k) - a term from arcaea, pattern is done with one note, then two notes, then one note mini jacks (2k/4k) - jacks but shorter in length and done in a sequence doubles (2k/4k) - pressing two notes at once, sometimes called hands chords (4k) - pressing three notes at once, chordjacks also exist (basically a combination of chords + jacks) quads (4k) - do i even need to explain roll (4k) - stairs but it repeats the same four notes (basically just individual staircases) sput roll (4k) - roll but you press the 3rd lane after the 1st, not the 2nd gallop (4k) - staircase but it skips a note, idk how to describe it honestly i guess thats it for now hhhh
I wouldn't call streams, jacks, or any pattern a "spam" of notes as I'd define spam as just randomly placed notes or another term for mashing. I'd define streams as a continuous stream of notes, mostly on separate columns that do not form jacks. Doesn't have to necessarily alternate hands. Double's are usually called jumps. While triples are typically called hands. And I think you meant to spell split roll instead of "sput" roll. Other than that, thanks for sharing some note pattern terminology
Im going to add that I just come up... FLEAR -fear of flick note i just hate and fear flick note that have very strict rules or direction and multiple of them :>

For missed out terminologies, there's stairs, spiral stairs , jacks, thrills, chord jacks, streams and some things like rolls or burst. Overall great video!
there are games that call charts "maps," such as osu other than that, this is a nice video! though when i clicked i expected definitions of patterns like trills, but i guess that can be another video in itself. again, cool video!
@@boii9614 Scroll Velocity. Mappers would sometimes use it to make some cool effects while mapping while others use it to make a map absolutely insufferable to play.
@@boii9614It is Scroll Velocity. Basically, it was used to create an effect where the note falls at a different speed. i would say "choke" mean to mess up a particular part that they could have played normally because if you mess up on a difficulty spike, you wouldn't call that a "choke", it's just the chart being too hard
Isn't offset a delay between song's beat and input (in perfect time) related to that beat? Don't understand if the definition in the video says the same thing or it's something else with the same name
youre right but the way the vid defines is “technically” also correct. the video says the same thing except the video is grouping the entire charts notes together to explain offsetc whilst youre grouping singular notes to explain offset
