New Rides Open at Six Flags Over Texas, Fright Fest 2024 Updates, Has Food Quality Improved?

- Earlier this month, Six Flags Over Texas unveiled their new Bugs Bunny Boomtown attractions, which are Sylvester & Tweety Pounce and Bounce and the returning Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters. Fright Fest is just over two months away and we've been able to confirm an entertainment offering and discuss the haunted house teasers that have been released. Finally, another food review gauges if the park's food quality has improved since our first summer visit.

Yes i would like some info on the merger. The prices for food is awful!! I will never pay that much. If they dont watch it we will be seeing six flags on the abandoned places videos.

Love the Critiques. This park needs it, I am just a nobody to them so they probably don't care about my opinion, but I am glad to hear someone from Six Flags reaching out to you about your past visit/food. The food is way over price to a quality of food I can just get from mcdonalds that is cheaper. That may be putting mcdonalds at a disservice.
As a regular viewer, would like to see a video about the merger.
Love to see that they did not use any blacktop for the new kids area. I will take anything over the terrible cheap blacktop. Thought it was funny, little later in the video you see them resurfacing the blacktop in boomtown. :(
Still disappointed that the new boomtown bar is outdoors. They could've removed the macho nacho building and rebuilt a larger building with a new kitchen and such with this bar to include it with some needed AC at this park. Wishful thinking for sure.

I think the Boomtown Bar has been a sore point for several years as the old arcade building was torn down without an approved plan. That area is smack dab in the flood plane and I don't think they'd get approval on new structures like they did when the park was first built. That's likely the reasoning for the "trailer" bar area and covered awning. I'm just glad they've come to a conclusion on what it would be!

Adam the Woo was at the park on Monday. I wish you guys got together and discussed the history of the park. He did stated that Six Flags was the worst coffee he ever had.

Yes! Please discuss this recent merger. Also, are you able to quell the rumors regarding the SFOT land being purchased by an investor(s) to replace the park with a casino in the next couple of years?
I actually brought up Casa Magnetica to 2 rides managers. They said they had no plans about it being open during the summer, even though I thought for sure that I saw some sort of ad on their facebook page saying it would be open during Summer after 5PM. They said since it is an event venue, it will be open for events like around Spring time, but probably nothing more than that. Also, they are going to TRY to have it open for Fright Fest, but no guarantees.
Concrete/pavers would be great throughout the park.
Last time and only time I've been in Casa was for scream break.
Food prices are ridiculous! People will pay for good food but are we getting good food? No not even close....

i have never liked their burgers, i like the turkey legs better. but, we have gotten to a point were we don't even eat at six flags or hurricane harbor due to prices and quality of the food. we just get out member cups and get drinks.
Glad to see they finally got something done with the Boomtown bar area. Any kind of shaded seating is a plus! We haven't been back to the park since December, and have been following the updates. I think we may get passes again for 2025, assuming they do their usual Labor Day sales. Of course, with the merger, that could be a thing of the past.

Hey Brian, great video!.. Yes, I would like your opinion on the merger.. I'm really hoping cedar Fair has some good things for us. Six flags over Texas, some more events.. I would like to see them open up the majestic theater and Open up crazy horse! Saloon they're still real good venues..

Sky screamer has been closed for weeks now everytime I go it's never open.
Seems to be some kind of major issue they’re having to work through. It was unlisted from the Flash Pass online system as well.
