Red Rooster is an Australian original. It started here in great WA. Western Australia. Quality chicken and its yummy. An Australian quality family favourite. The Southern states deserves this Aussie favourite.
I prefer KFC as a restaurant, but that Red Rooster box is superior imo, KFC chicken can always be very hit or miss depending when you get it, and the chips/gravy aren't as good, KFC's strength is in it's cheaper price and superior burgers, however Red Rooster brings better everything in their box, and that rolls is mint, add an extra 50c for a chicken tender roll too!
Your gravy and mash looks miles better but in the usa our fries are also soggy, but they have this nice seasoning on them and atleast we get buttery biscuits instead of a bread roll!!! Maaaate!!!
2 things- Firstly -kfc gravy tastes like that because it’s made with the fines from the fryers use to cook it Secondly -the most requested bits of chicken I find are thighs and legs so 🤷♀️
The leg is my favourite piece! Always greasy and delicious. Leg, then wings, breast comes last - yeah there’s more of it but it’s not as tasty and there are more weird bones to you have to pick around

I've had both the 4.95 deals, and id go for KFC because they do an additional 1.50 for a drink - even for apple and orange juice which would normally be more expensive because it's healthier. Whereas Red rooster charges extra 2 bucks for a drink. KFC is the better deal here, especially because there's more to to this deal than Red rooster - even tho the Red rooster deal is more about quality. These 1 piece of chicken deals are especially good with KFC because you actually have the privilege of choosing what piece you want. Which is all you need.
I had an awesome feed from kfc last night. Everything was on point too for a change lol. We don’t have red rooster but will have to try. Those magpies were funny too 👍😂
With KFC chips I always ask for extra seasoning & keep them open until I eat them as the steam from the food can make them soggy which I find dissolves some of the seasoning

Grego, if you go to KFC when its busy you're gonna get better chicken than Red Rooster EVERY time. I also like to think about the potato and gravy at KFC more as a dip for the chips than a side dish in itself. If you eat them separately they're both underwhelming. But just like Captain Planet... with their powers combined they're gonna take Red Rooster down to zero!

Dude Rooter gravy is just like any supermarket packet gravy, its no where near as good as KFC gravy.
Should of made a full combo. Put the kf chicken strip on the roll dipped red rooter chips in kf spud n gravy.
