I have been saved since childhood, I am now 64. I have never been confronted with "can I lose salvation, got to work to be saved, etc." In an effort to push an exaggerated "grace " message it seems knowing Jesus is becoming unnatural. You cannot work to obtain salvation, but there are works that follow salvation and Christians definitely need more godly works.

Abram give out of his heart, it wasn't a command for him. And he give 10% of everything he owned. 2nd Corinthians 9:7, says the same thing we are to give of our heart. No commandment was given to tithe under the New covenant. Jesus gave two commandments in 1 John 3:23, tithing was not one of them.
A tithe is not the same as an offering. A tithe is giving the Lord what is His. An offering is an offering.. for a prayer for healing for a specifc ask. Not the same as tithes.
