Why wait? The technology exists in theory. It's up to you to put it together. Miniaturise the nuclear generator. Compose the theme. Wage war in the name of what you feel is right, until a worthy challenger rises to challenge your ideals.
From 5:52 onwards, it almost sounds like Khamsin is losing his damn mind, almost like part of him realized what the Winds are doing is wrong, while the rest of him is trying to silence it, and judging by 6:47, it sounds like they succeeded.
i imagine it as a second phase where khamsin’s mech is heavily damaged and he’s swinging his axe around like it’s a hammer, sending rubble all over without regard for whether or not he even hits blade wolf, saying “i WILL become a wind of destruction!” and ranting incoherently when in truth he wasn’t up to snuff compared to the likes of monsoon, mistral and the rest.
For some reason I keep imagining this as a Phase 2 Scenario, and I sort of had an idea for how it would play out: Bladewolf goes in to dismember Khamsin’s mech, only to be quickly blasted away by a rocket. Bladewolf quickly recovers, and is both audibly and visibly (well, not really visibly) confused, only to see Khamsin’s mech rise up to his feet. Khamsin: “You think I’d let ya win that easy, damn mutt?!” Khamsin’s mech fully stands up, and turns to Bladewolf, revealing concealed-now-exposed weaponry, such as rocket launchers and turrets. Bladewolf attempts running, only for Khamsin to quickly catch up to him, and knock him away with his chain-axe, and into another area. From there, the fight becomes more stealth oriented, Bladewolf having to hide from Khamsin, while also taking out his extra weaponry before they can finally kill him.
this is perfect. I would also like to add that no more health drops, the sheer amount of fire from Khamsin should be enough to melt your health on normal difficulty, and whenever he does his grab attack the follow up axe should be both devastating and unblockable.
@@isaiahgay5295 It should be a slow-burning, desparate stealth phase with destructible buildings/cover (maybe some extra enemies?) with your cover bbeing annihalated alongside you if you stay in one place too long, with each zandatsu opening you get taking more and more of his weaponry away. Then the third, final phase is the a head-on fight like the first, but with some sort of boost and much more aggresive ai and new moves. Would help make him worthy of the tital "Wind of Destruction". Things like this make me sad that MGR didn't get its full 7 years of collaboration between konami and Platinum

This might be a reach, but here’s just a thought. This song is a battle between a patriotic person who fights for freedom, while not truly having any, and someone who knows what’s truly right, pointing out all the evil done in the name of freedom. He constantly reminds himself that he is a “Wind of Destruction”, a title made to sound “cool”, a prideful name, simply given to keep his loyalty.
I forgot how left wing and anti imperialist Metal Gear as a series is/how the devs are. It literally talks about soldiers, the mask of freedom and Justice, third world countries and war crimes.
