Aside from the two breakfast items they had crazy delicious looking appetizing meals to serve the guests. It doesn't look like hospital food aside from the omelet and the eggs.
I've stayed in a hospital many times in two different cities and I honestly have never had bad food. Now obviously it could be better but that's because I've eaten at fancy restaurants where gourmet food is served. I've had much worse food compared to hospital meals.
Here's some advice for you people that go to Honolulu for vacation have your meals at straub hospital cafeteria. It's like a fifth of the price of food in any restaurant in Hawaii

I remember the hospital foods. When my daughter was born the food was flavorless and unappealing. I was there for 10 hrs. My son looked ok but it have flavor dont know what but it did have flavor. My last two was at the same hospital and food was amazing there. They literally has a chief just for the maternity ward. The first breakfast was pancakes, sausage patties, and coffee and juice Lunch was turkey club with a brioche bun and fresh chips Celebration dinner was cute filet mignon between medium and well done, mashed potatoes gravy Cobb salad asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Desert a decedent chocolate cake. And miniature bottle of apple cider. Throughout my stay I would was allowed to pick and choose what i wanted to eat during my stay.the food and snacks where excellent
Hospital food leaves much to be desired. I was at NY Presbyterian - a prestigious NYC hospital - and the food was inedible. I couldn’t even get a piece of toast. The only non-sandwich, non-French toast bread they had was single slices sealed in plastic. What?? I ended up getting Thai food delivered. Then there was an extremely rare experience on the luxury floor of a Boston hospital (regular beds were full) where they had their own kitchen and chef, who made me green smoothies. My general experience is being able to get gluten-free toast, which is sufficient for a few days. Is it really toasted? Not so much. But at least it’s edible.
S*** what hospital did she go to to get steak and asparagus what the f*** after I had my kid the hospital food was so gross they had no salt no nothing it was bland as hell😭
