I sense the Voces8 "touch" on this with the impeccable vocal blend and "sotto voce" approach to the upper voices. But I also love when the individual voices pop out now and then giving it the "Lyyra" sound. Really anxious to hear more releases.....(p.s. The contralto/bass voice!!!)
I am just so geeked to comment on your post to say how much your music for “Rigoletto” impacted my childhood! I first heard the music when I was quite young, and it really spoke to me. Now I’m a choir teacher and I often sing the pieces (especially Melody Within) to my young daughter. Thank you!!!❤️

I want to compose like this. I’ve composed a few pieces and some sketches for some vocal groups. But, this recording has really inspired me with the weaving of the female voices together into a tapestry of perfect sound. Thank you.
