This is absolutely my favorite version of this song! It has that slow, melancholic sound that perfectly fits the emotion of the lyrics

I'm two years too late finding this, but it's beautiful. Touching and somehow, unlike so many other versions of this song, though the song itself is sad, this cover doesn't make me feel hopeless.

+toxic clown Hey, I know the original song is by Tears for Fears, and I have actually written that in the video description. But the original song is very different to Gary Jules's version, and I was covering Gary's version which is why I put his name in the title of the video. As a fellow songwriter, I'm always very careful to research and credit the people who originally wrote the songs that I cover, so I understand the importance of crediting people accurately and care about it.
