To get yet another take on the many styles and personas David Bowie projected, I would suggest Heroes, live in Berlin, either 2000 or 2002, can’t remember which year. This shows him as himself, no personas, having worked through his issues and coming out on top. His joy and energy are contagious.

It influenced so many people from the song to his image. Top of the pops was a music show on bbc1 60's-00's.back in the 60's,70's we only had 3 tv channels in the uk.they weren't 24hrs and you didn't get repeats So everyone made sure they were in front of the one tv you'd have in the house to watch top of the pops. The next day people would be talking about the show at work,school and the pub. The show was such an influence on people who were or would become musicians. Unfortunately streaming music and the internet killed the show.
