It is vibrant, all the restaurants are there and all the cafes. All the sites are all in easy walking distance. 3 days should be ample 4 is a maximum. For those of you that plan on staying longer, the north of Greece is nice, has some good sites, but the south is better, ( the Peloponnese) Nafplio, Kalamatta and so much more. If it is beaches you are after. Voidikilia is a must! Best beach I have swum in, like swimming in a clear glass of water. Take your rubbish with you when you leave. Stoupa is another, but you will find all the beaches are nice. If it is an island you are after, Crete will blow your mind.
