The PARD TA32 "Product How To" Guide!

The TA is a digital thermal handheld that comes in either a 25mm or 35mm lens. The TA32 offers a 384x288 uncooled vanadium oxide thermal sensor and the TA62 features a 640x480 sensor. Both models are also available with a built in Laser Range Finder (LRF), accurate out to 1200yds.
The TA’s compact size conceals some of the most advanced technology in the thermal optics industry today. At only 10.5 oz (300g), they are lightweight and easily nest in the palm of your hand. They feature robust optical zooms that enlarge the target, providing crisp and clear magnification. Additionally, they feature variable digital zooms that provide additional magnification and enlarge the viewable image. This handheld also features the ability to record MP4 1024x768 video of what you are viewing at the rate of 50 frames/second. Video can be downloaded via the included HDMI cable or connected via Wi-Fi to your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.
The LRF version has the additional ability to take 2592x1944 JPG pictures. Display resolution is 1024x768 OLED, backing up the thermal sensor. The TA32 can detect targets at up to 1400yds and the TA62 can detect up to 1500yds. All TA units feature a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of ≤25mK (milli-Kelvin). This is a measure of how small of a temperature difference the thermal sensor can detect in the environment. The smaller the number, the better. Coupled with a pixel pitch of 12µm (microns), you get an extremely sensitive device that performs even when environmental thermal contrast is low at great distances.
The TA offers six different thermal color display modes for varying conditions - White Hot (most common), Black Hot (best for viewing wildlife at night), Red Hot (helps reduce overexposure with ambient light), Iron Hot, Edge, and Sky. The 18650 removable/rechargeable battery provides 5-6 hours of use and can operate in temperatures between -4° and 122° F. The Ingress Protection (IP) factor rates at an industry leading IP67, providing 100% security against dust and submersion in up to 3ft of water.
