I love the attempt at recreating Tenet's color grade!
They did a great job too.
Absolutely terrified.
the part of the higway and the saab looks almost like a scene from the movie
@@GustavoAlves-ns1uz bro for real, also the memorial scene at 1:12 looks very similar
Too good! Especially at 0:14
Us estonians get excited whenever someone mentions our country
i really hope i get to visit your country someday. it looks amazing 😍
Estonia is amazige
@@hazimmohamad1167 visit emidiataly its so beautiful
yes we do
Are Estonians welcoming to American Tourists? Looks like there's a lot of history and some good museums there
2:01 This absolute legend actually drove a silver Saab 9-5 NG on the same highway. The exact same model they used in the movie. It's my dream car.
Check the license plate number too ;)
@@JamesYorkfromNewYork No way is it the same?
@@tobiasgreeeen the videographers and production team went all out and had a plate made to match ;) #trivia
@@JamesYorkfromNewYork That's actually sick
@@tobiasgreeeen the whole team did amazing work. I just had to show up and deliver my lines ;)
This video has now successfully convinced me to visit Estonia
I saw Tenet in cinema Kosmos (seen in the background in 2.52). It was very surreal feeling to see the characters walk on that same street where I was watching the film.
immersive
This is great to see, after filming and exploring all these locations of Tallinn all summer, we watched Tenet at the imax in Tallinn. Loved the movie and love Tallinn☺️🇪🇪
that must've felt meta
It's also worth noting that the Pärnu maantee scene (including the tram) was shot right next to the one and only ultra-modern IMAX cinema (Kosmos IMAX) in Tallinn. It was literally shot at the Kosmos tram stop (the name of the tram stop even seen in the movie)
I saw you filming in front of the court house when i came from school.
I never knew Estonia is such a interesting country. Really look great in Tenet and I hope I can see those places with my own eye one day!
I visited by a Viking cruise in June 2019, one of our guides mentioned that Nolan would be filming at Linnahall as we passed it. Was very cool being there and seeing the ship terminal and the city in the movie.
3:44 Inversion
It's a small, but a really nice touch :D
you got godly eyes my dude
I had this video as an add before another video and I actually liked this add more than the video itself.
The algorithm brought me here. It's so exciting to learn more about the places in Estonia that were filmed in Tenet. I love Lena Hall; it was likely inspired by brutalist architecture.
My mum's half Estonian and Half Australian and we thought it was cool having Estonia in a Christopher Nolan film but I did not realise how amazing the country is. The architecture is awesome.
Look channel Bald Daily was in Estonia.
2:25 the exact Car SAAB used in TENET for the Chase Scene , Nice choice
Fantastic video for people who are obsessed with this masterpiece... like me.
AMAZING TOURIST PROMO!!! - im as a fan of Nolan's work will visit Estonia!
Look Andrei Tarkovski Stalker movie and Alan Walker Faded songvideo too.
Bald Daily channel have 5 Estonia videos and on his main channel too Eastonia movie.
This is very well done. Kudos to the tourism team of Estonia for this. I am surprised by the number of locations used for the film.
GREAT VIDEO! I wouldn't imagine most locations were there in Tallin. I will surely visit Estonia someday
Truly beautiful place.
I impressed smooth camera movement
the best scene spot introducing I have ever seen on youtube
Wow THIS IS AMAZING! The color, the drama, everything's perfect! It's about damn time to visit Estonia
This was very well made and entertaining
What a fantastic place! Would love to visit someday
Well done sir, THIS is how you do it!
I'd love visit Estonia and Tallinn especially
YES!! MY COUNTRY HAS BEEN NOTICED!!!
edit: i also know and have been in those locations aswell
JAH, MY FRIEND, JAH mee oleme ta yle uhked..🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Thanks, after covid trip idea :) greetings From Latvija
I could've bet that this would be coming, in one form or another -- and I'm glad it came in a really neat form. Pretty well done, actually! :)
Great introduction to the filming scenes of Tenet
So funny to think, that I’ll walk by these locations every day 😅
That place where they ride the tram, near Kosmos IMAX - that's near two of the places where me and my friends hang out and drink beer :D
@@MoonchildMindaugas2 Nice, aga ma ei joo.
@@Lo_. Okei
now i wanna go to estonia
"You don't need a special access to see the art work"
Yeah, that part is a little bit dramatic.
great video thank you!
Ive been in tallinn over 20 Times and I travel with Tallink silja to tallinn:D
hope i can visit this beautiful city one day
Luckily i've been in Tallinn this summer i liked the city.
Maybe you can soon, corona spread is slowing down
Thats my home, beautifully filmed, thanks.
is this video shot on an Imax camera too?? even the color grade is similar!!
Oh man, I was in Tallinn a few months ago and didn't think of Tenet at the time so I missed seeing the Linnahall and Maarjamäe.
I did visit KUMU and the Telliskivi Creative City though, so who knows, maybe I'll be back in the future ;)
can't believe they put subtitles in this and not the movie
Incredible. Going.
Awesome vídeo!!!
Very good job by Visit Estonia 👌
Actually dope video.
I never thought some scenes are recorded on estonia until whatch this video
That looks amazing yeah.
Very cool ☺
10/10 would visit again. Linnahall looked very different when I was there the other day. Lots of graffiti. Still very cool to visit a movie set.
If you're in the old town I recommend eating at Restoran Olde Hansa.
2:30 what movie scene happened here? I cant recall
2:26 TENET color palette
What's the soundtrack here? Thanks in advance.
Which scene was the Liivalaia court house was used for?
Visitestonia tegelased, palun teinekord lasta tekst koostada inimesel kelle emakeel on Inglise.
Mitmed kahtlasi valikuid oli lause ehitustes tehtud, üks häirivamaid on "Lasnamäe naborhood" mis peaks absoluutselt olema "Lasnamäe district in Tallinn" või "In Tallinn the Lasnamäe district", lühidalt "Lasnamäe sistrict" aga mitte "naberhood".
Viimane tähendab asula väikest osa (kui vaid mõned väike hooned/era majad) ja otseselt naabruskond st väikest hulka vaid lähedal olevaid st. naaber maju.
SUPER!
this is super fucking interesting. didn't know most of the shooting took place in Estonia and some in socal
I’ll tell all my African and Muslim brothers to visit Estonia after watching this😁
Is travel to Estonia from the U.S. possible?
Now? Not really, no, although the restrictions can change quite often, especially since vaccinations are underway in both countries. After travel restrictions have been lifted? Of course.
After corona restrictions go away, sure
If only this phone was shot in imax
You see people... estonia is nice country at europe no matter what
I bet and must say your Cinematography is way better than Hoyte van Hoytema period❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
*really? meme*
@@anirudhrai1248 yes bro see those camera angles and color grading on Highway scene and aerial views
@@navinsabban6521 but yeah you cant compare this to HVH. He is an Oscar Nominated Cinematographer for a reason. I can agree on the fact they did a splendid job on trying to match it to his style.
@@anirudhrai1248 yeah in a way HVH is best. But coming to handling IMAX camera movements he goes with minimum movement of IMax camera. See the Tenet highway scene. Camera is held only on the right side of the screen
@@navinsabban6521 because that is what is intended in that scene. It's perfectly coordinated and planned. You cant go freestyle like Paul Greengrass. Also, excessive movement won't be suitable for a chase scene that involves your attention (you know what I mean if you have seen the movie) whereas in Bourne series we know it's a generic car chase that is not that imp to the plot of the film. But during the final battle, it's on foot and there sure is chaos and uncertainty in that scene and HVH delivers by some scenes of shake cam on IMAX.
so i just watch an advertissement of estonia.
i like it tho
Everything is great but why such haunting music in the background ? Is it because of Tenet !!
1:00 why is the narrator walking backward, freak me out!
washington and pattinson, in that order
1:49 click here??
click what?
England v pa kistan
2:01 S A A B
3:36 Not so much in 2020...
Yall may have liked it , but that mf film didn’t let me go to cinema , but it was cool to watch the cars flying in person :)
Estonian Jonah hill
And where is the victims of capitalism memorial i wonder.
Lol he had the same Saab on the highway 😂
"We have a victims of communism memorial"
"Almost all the buildings we present to advertise our city were build on communist era"
And what's your point?
Yeah, curious what your point is. Those buildings were still built mostly by Estonians.
Bc the ,,epic car racing” scene , i couldn’t go to beach bc the fucking road was closed :(
