Littlefinger is sooo good to read about. He is a black stain on Westeros because of his incellation in the hands of Cat and Brandon Stark. Reading him, you can *feel* that no amount of napalm will be enough for him to cover Westeros in to soothe his heart. Incredible stuff.
In the first 4 seasons they did a decent job adapting the books but I agree, when you read it only then you realize how good those books really are. GRRM is an amazing writer, the dialogues and characters are outstanding. He and Tarantino should really do a project together.
Tommen will go on to rule over a happy kingdom forever after. The end 😁
Aryas training journey is the absolute best.
Also I love that Igli asked if there are any Astrologers in Westeros. The best we got was commentary about what the red comet at the beginning of season two meant as an omen to people from various backgrounds. In terms of age… All I’ll say is… And not that this is a big show spoiler or anything but take note of Gilly’s baby and his aging process compared to everyone else.
I don't know if Gilly's son's growth can be reliable as a marker of anything due to the incest in the story plus real life difficulty working with infants in film.

I have a suggestion for a films for you to react to: FEAR STREET (2021), a very fun and interesting Netflix horror trilogy, with brutal moments and good characters, you'll enjoy it

Hodor knows that he's killing them. Or at least he did in the books. He becomes like a passenger in his body but still can see through his eyes. It's very sad.

On the time issue I think it’s stated in book or if it was G r r Martin that said that when Robert traveled to winter fell in season 1 it would take 2-3 months on the kings road.

"The greatest swordsman who ever lived didnt have a sword?" .... this is 1 of my biggest gripes with the writing of the whole show - Why didnt he pick up a real sword from 1 of the knights he knocked out & kept the wooden sword will never make sense to me

This is peak GOT right here imo. Stays pretty good for a bit after this then falls off a cliff.
Sharp decline in season 5. There are some great moments for sure but it's nowhere near as good as the first 4 seasons.
@neutchain7838 they waited over a DECADE for Martin to give them more material. They had to start making a more direct storyline & wrap up vs play the convoluted overly detailed side story game, even though it's fun & part of the allure of the show, thru couldn't wait around any longer. He STILL hasn't put out the next book! While I thin its rushed, the end is still def a plausible & obvious end when your look at the prophecy and Martin's words that 'if you think the story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention'.
@@orphanedhanyou althought I agree with you this is still not an excuse for the really bad writing you can see in the last two seasons. They were amazing adapting his story and turning into a show but clearly failed writing their own. Characters were reduced to repeating the same lines in every conversations, they behaved nothing like they did before, absolutely retarded decisions made very competent characters in order to support the laughable plot, etc... They wanted it to be over so they rushed in and damn the quality. If you want to leave then F off, and let someone else finish it in a way that would have been on pair with the rest of the show. I dont mind hwo things turn out at the end but i despise the way they got there.
