I personally like using the Face mask as the muzzle, and just have either the hair (if going the furry route) or a big screw (if going more realistic) to cover up the strings. Also, something I like to do is give animatronic characters regular White Gloves. It gives them a more "kid-friendly" asthetic, as the classic gloves might be reminiscent of characters like Mickey Mouse.
    Edit:
Everyone: Arguing about stolen human character designs that look like regular humans
Me, Having my Human designs be based on 8-bit sprites: B]
Edit 2: About the Mrs. Afton Dress thing... BUT IT'S SO PRETTY THOUGH

These are actually incredibly helpful! I usually try making my designs canon enough to where you can easily tell who is who while also making them a little unique and slightly different. Mrs. Afton is who I really go overboard with i usually dress her like she's fresh out the victorian era so the tips for her are helpful 😅
Thank you for making this 😁

Is actually helped a lot. Although I like to draw and design, I am not very creative. I stick with a consistent design and color pallet, and honestly it has caused problems recently...
Taking a look at my recent Singing Battle, you might see a problem. The only one that sticks out is Golden Freddy & Funtime Freddy, and even then, Funtime Freddy seems the most unique...
I've been meaning to change their designs, and honestly this might help A LOT. Thank you, very much. 💙

another tip id add is when designing the missing children/ ghost characters dont add the animal accessorys, personally i design mine to look like how they wouldve died in, eg: my elizabeth doesnt have clown features all she is is black and white with blood and the spirit eyes and open mouth.
the whole assessories with the animatronic features icks me this might just be a pet peeve of mine tho lol.

This helps a lot because sometimes my designs look like 2018 and I personally hate that style because it looks too clean, and characters in 2018 end up looking very unorganized and way too bright, and that’s why I use 65% tint on this blueish purplish color, and one thing people don’t like to understand is the fact that gacha club/gacha life is a game all about being creative and unique, instead people just copy others :/

  • @thatoneFNaFfan.-kf5ph

My main inspiration I used is most likely for color theory. I really struggled with it before, but now knowing and learning how to sample colors in a good toned way so they balance off each other the characters are amazing. I also recommend searching up 80s teens boys personality’s who had similar looks to Michel and looking into how young boys, girls, and grown men acted as obviously, though you need canon personality, you also need to have realistic personality traits, like perhaps William with mood changes or C.C with autism or some type of deformity/whatever. And finally, I recommend seeing into missing children incidents and how they happened in the 80s or perhaps something similar to give inspiration for m.I.a children.
(This is what I did lmao)

    9:12-9:20 Here are some tips!
Fnaf 2 came earlier in the timeline. (In most AUS) Make them look older!
Fnaf 1 should have more fur. Fnaf 2 should use little to no fur (exception to hair) besides chica’s tuft
Fnaf 2 Should have brighter colors and more unique clothing for their flashiness.

"Fashion of the 1980s was characterized by a rejection of 1970s fashion. Punk fashion began as a reaction against both the hippie movement of the past decades and the materialist values of the current decade.[2] The first half of the decade was relatively tame in comparison to the second half, which was when apparel became very bright and vivid in appearance.
Hair in the 1980s was typically big, curly, bouffant and heavily styled. Television shows such as Dynasty helped popularize the high volume bouffant and glamorous image associated with it.[3][4] Women in the 1980s wore bright, heavy makeup. Everyday fashion in the 1980s consisted of light-colored lips, dark and thick eyelashes, and pink or red rouge (otherwise known as blush).[5][6]
Some of the top fashion models of the 1980s were Brooke Shields, Christie Brinkley, Gia Carangi, Joan Severance, Kim Alexis, Carol Alt, Yasmin Le Bon, Renée Simonsen, Kelly Emberg, Inès de La Fressange, Tatjana Patitz, Elle Macpherson, and Paulina Porizkova.[citation needed]"

    personally,
i have a written down lore note thing of when things happen and character stuff etc, i see that a lot of people still use the idea that william is glitchtrap / glitchtrap controls william etc. - plus i have an alter of glitchtrap, from an osdd system 1b :]/off topic -
but i like googling what styles were used more in the seasons that i have written down for most of the main events that happened, so i use some old fashion books that my grandma has (i know its delving too deep, but i like looking into fashion things) and seeing the styles that fashion went through each different season,
stick to 80's 90's fashion, use different styles, experiment and have fun!

I just saw this video- This video is a great way of helping beginners with gacha and help people be more original, you explained everything so perfectly! ( Your designs are amazing by the way, their clothes and color pallets suit them a lot! )
And I agree with the "do not copy" part.
I see a bunch of people copying off famous gacha tubers and them trying to twist the roles around, which isnt fair and is actually disrespectful.
The tips you gave are much appreciated! ✨️
Edit 1: I actually wanted to make ennard and the funtimes for future videos, so i appreciate you giving the viewers some tips to make the masks and such.

I love this tutorial, and I completely agree with you! Me who completely changed the aftons design and made all of them, except C.C blond:
Btw, C.C gets his brown hair from Williams father.

just an excuse to talk about My Elizabeth because she is my favorite Afton: I decided to make my Elizabeth, Williams's stepdaughter because her brothers have brown hair and it wouldn’t make sense for her to be naturally ginger

before this video i had some characters that looked similar to others....so i changed that, and even tried to make the soul version of the aftons (obs: they look terrifying)
and also, GL2 is so fun to use, i like to give the taller characters long legs :3

im not sure if you care but like i usually put everyone who died brutually with darker or slightly red hair
meanwhile i use for the characters that died not so brutal
(my au afton mother for eg.)
    with her normal hair
