The Bible emphasizes that the last day conglomeration collectively called Babylon would be steeped in fornication both of a spiritual and physical nature. Even the messages to the Seven Churches in revelation have very clear indications of the connection between idolatry and fornication. This problem is so blatant in the church that sweeping under the carpet is not an option because the "mountain" formed under the carpet has been piled up to Heaven!
