I'm sorry, but NOBODY can top Darren's voice, NOBODY. He is one of the most underappreciated and greatest voices of all time, period. His voice is not of this world. God bless him. I don't know the man on the left, sorry sir, but to me, most "singers" you can always tell they are thinking in their head, the notes, the phrasing, etc. they are putting so much thought and effort into what they are doing... Darren NEVER looks like that because he doesn't need to. He gets totally out of the way and the voice just happens. His voice is a gift. When he sings it is almost effortless.

I think the absolute best thing about this video is that although Darren is outclassing Gary in every aspect, Darren clearly absolutely loves Gary's performance and welcomes every word. Not only is Darren a great singer he's a first class Human being and as humble as they come.
This type of song is challenging to pick the lower octaves/notes to sing, Darren has so much smoothness/power in his high notes that will naturally pierce through perfectly. Gary is phenomenal in his own right!

I think I have watched this a thousand times. Good lord Darren is GORGEOUS and his voice is just so amazing, STILL, after all of these years. That is what you call taking care of your instrument. And Gary's harmonies are literally pitch perfect. WE NEED THIS AS A SINGLE!!!
