Oh my gosh, she’s a beauty of a froggie! Love frogs and toads , I’ve collected them for over twenty years, (not real ones), antique frog planters to silly stuffies, and everything in between. I make toad abodes for my outside toads in the summer, and mow slowly, so I can keep an eye out for toads and shut the mower off and shoosh them out of harms way. I think you should call her Ms. Odinah!
She is utterly ridiculous. And adorable. I had 3 bullfrogs for several years. They were so entertaining. They were in a 100gallon enclosure. We called it frog TV. Everyone watched them far more than the TV.

I have an American Bullfrog, she is the same way eating...total derp. I swear it took her 5 min to eat a worm once and at least a dozen tries. Certainly makes you wonder how they survive in the wild.

She is beautiful. I have always loved frogs, even as a child. I used to annoy my mother, by catching them and bringing them home. I am considering getting some type of frog, so an African bull frog is another to consider. Thank you for showing her off and her derpy skills.

He's so right about frogs, toads and overfeeding it's a huge problem. I've rarely see a creature with such a gluttony as these reptiles, if it moves it's food. They settle down so quickly too, you can move them around just like in this video and even in your hand they might try eat something. We used to have the ones that live completely in water not sure what they're called, they come in all colors we had the albino ones and same with them. They use their arms to shove in food all day long and same there, you have to be really careful with overfeeding. We kept all kinds of native frogs and toads until the move, do miss them a lot.
Your enclosure you made for your Giant African Bull from came out beautiful. I would love to do something like that for my male Pixie he's about the size of a soft ball and a half. I would love to see your Cane Toad !!
Did you know that the males are one of the few animals that care for their young after their birth? The male will tend to the tadpoles and make sure they stay in water. There are some cool videos of males doing this online.

My little young Pixie is currently "hibernating" still. Was born in 23, so still has a lot of room to grow. Have 2 small cane toads as well, great to see other invert keepers also branching out in these very cool creatures. Have been thinking a long time about doing the same as you, Dave. Little shop, some how-to stuff etc. But where I am the hoops to jump through are making it less worth it. Even heard of people who were supposed to get Tarantula anti-venom in case something happens... by the state veterinary department for these issues... You're likely right about Odin being a girl in my opinion. Still a great frog, even though they're much smaller than the boys. How old is Odin approximately?

Moss and leaf litter are good ideas. Keeps a lot of the dirt out of the water dish. Such a great pet.

I find these frogs are basically moving stomachs that react to movement.

We got him at around an inch back in the middle of last year so less that year old ?
It's crazy that these guys can live 15-25 years. I bet they even reach 30 sometimes.
