Well duh it’s still happening, they know that officials rather shut down the jail and free the occupants rather than deal with the issue.

Inmates don’t typically assault staff in county jails while they’re waiting for trial. Especially not daily. There has to be some underlying reason other than overcrowding.

Over-exaggeration! San Francisco Sheriff deputies at San Francisco General Hospital are on their smartphones and do nothing else the entire shift while sitting on cushions and not adhering to the hospital rule of wearing a mask. If any one deputy is necessary at all, there are way too many deputies than necessary!
My guess is that there is a rule that a deputy assigned to a suspect is stuck at the hospital until the specific suspect is released by the doctor. Of course, if there are multiple suspects, then that creates a redundancy of deputies, but rules are rules.
What’s a deputy supposed to do sit in the room with the inmate and hold his hand😂

We don't want prisoners beaten and tortured, they don't need to be handle with soft fuzzy gloves either. This is crazy, sounds more like a crazy prison than a county jail. Yikes.
