There is the third-party center-console/arm-rest replacements for, rear-passenger airconditioner-vents(not cheapo fan-air-flow options), and cup-holders for air-conditioner vents and redirection of flow mod-hack possibility for chiller-cans inside center-console when travelling without backseat-drivers.

What Highlander do you have, a hybrid or gas? And do you have the XLE or Limited?

I have a question I’m hoping you can help me with regarding my 2019 Toyota Highlander XLE. With the AC On using the 2nd row temperature/fan controller with the fan On high the third-row seats (both driver/passenger sides) the air blows strongly, which appears to be a normal good flow. In the 2nd row seats both air vents (driver/passenger sides) the air flow is very weak (much less than what's coming from the third row). Even if I close off the third-row air vents it has no effect on the 2nd row air vents. I would think the air flow in the 2nd row would increase a little or something noticeable (the air must go somewhere), but it does not. My local SoCal Toyota dealership said I’m the first to mention this issue and believes this is normal. I don’t agree. I could only find one other comment in a Toyota forum that mentions the same concern with a 2022 Hybrid Highlander Limited. I couldn’t find any diagram depicting the ducting routes which could be helpful or not. Update: I now have strong reason to believe the NorCal Toyota dealership where I purchased the Used Certified Vehicle and/or their subcontracted auto repair shop damage the ventilation ducting in the process of lowering the headliner to replace the shark fin antenna. When the headliner was reinstalled, it was damaged in the process. A second headliner was installed. I also found headliner parts that were removed from the car’s roof during the repair(s) left in a plastic bag in the second-row door pocket. When I asked the NorCal Toyota dealership to fix the issues they said no and revoked my used car certified warranties.
