I have watched couple of your single cooking videos Rakesh. But just yesterday I came across the ones with your Amma. Very wonderful. I love the way you both present the cooking. But the next surprise was to see Mahura - Jagannath special recipe. Mami looks like a bandhar of multiple cuisine. I love the way mami everytime says Ummachi kapath, offering each dish she makes to Lord Krishna. Thank you for your videos and lots of tips, mami and Rakesh.
In Salem Tamilnadu there is a place called kurangu Chavadi in that place there is one Ayyappan Temple in that temple they used to give a prasadam named aravana payasam
First time i am watching. All these days how i missed? I don't know. Wonderful presentation. Two of you are very intrestingly conducting the show. Where are you put up with? Please i am curious to know. Akhila
Rakesh amazing singing. Appidiye Narayana /Jaganathare sevechituuten. Thank you for such amazing recipes . I enjoy the interactions you and your mother have. Blessings

Hi next month rathyatra will be held at puri so this prasaad can be made and offered to Lord jagannath if toor and moong dals are added to this preparation then it becomes Dalma which is also offered to Lord
Thanks for your response. It is a custom maintained for many years to cook without salt. Since the Devas offered their Naivedyam in the beginning, by mistake, they forgot to add salt. But the Lord ate the food offered very happily and relished it and blessed them too. After that the devotees had the prasadham and found out that the meal was without salt. They felt bad for the mistake they have done which couldn't be rectified. Whole heartedly all the devotees decided to make the Naivedyam in the same way and till now that practice is adopted. Though it is a hearsay, whether we believe it or not, food without salt is good for health. Take things in a right spirit and optimistic. God bless you all
@@mbmythili6154 thank you. But that legend may be relevant for Oppiliappan temple..for Puri Jaganath temple never heard about skipping salt..could not find any write up as well..if you do find please share here..thanks.
