I have the same problem with the swapper item, It's very good but it slows the game down to the crawl and sucks the fun out of it for me--I never take the swapper. The game tempo of spin, pick, spin, pick, etc. is so smooth and seamless and I find that items that add extra steps into the mix steal away some of that magic so I prefer not to use them.
Honestly think the visuals are fine (except for the moth for some reason just messes with my eyes) but maybe that's just me. Also I'm pretty sure the Scarab is made in opposition to the Geologist who does eat sapphires, so you could have a gem creating build with both of them without them stealing from the other. I also stopped playing modded just because of the not being able to turn symbols/items off, while there is some interesting and fun mods it's just kind of to annoying to deal with all the extra stuff
The art is very good, it's just feels a bit too detailed lol. Tbf tho it would be hard to make the bugs look different without that much detail

I don't know if they can resize the symbols, to be in the same size like the Items
I like how it has it's own cure builds, but also a wide variety of support pieces for base game builds.
That ninja was taking too much attention. That amethyst could have been buffed much earlier but the ninja was hogging the swaps.
would like to see a couple more of this pack, some potential for a good spider and another good ant build
you could probably do another video with this mod pack it has a bunch of possible builds

I’m pretty sure you can disable individual symbols and items from the mods menu now
just looking at it but i think the mosquito could totally make a zaroff build work

If this mod didn't had synergies with default symbols, you could use that other mod wich ban all the default symbols
