The best interpretation.
By far the best rendition of this piece I've ever heard. Truly remarkable player.
It is impossible not to love his playing - he really displays the big picture when he plays, very organic sounding.
BRAVO!!!!! BRAVOOOOO!!!!!!!!
FANTASTIC!!!!! One of the best interpretations of all the times!!!!
It's plenty of felling, tonal richness and emotions. Full of emotion!
BRAVOOO!!!
In addition to all of us, RD would definitely be so proud of your performance of this piece. Salut!
EXCELENTE DIMITRI!
J’adore !
Great Interpretation!
Wow. Effortless! And what subtle layering of the melody over the harmony. You have to practise forever for that control!
I love his playing! Thanks for this lovely performance, cheers!
BRAVO!!!
Roland Dyens left us way too soon...Imagine how many more pieces he might have given the guitar world had he still been alive today....
Thank you Dmitri for this excellent rendering of one of the toughest pieces in the classical guitar repertoire..
ALWAYS WONDERFULL! Play with rare Dynamic Range....
Bravissimo!!!
Thank you for this gem!
Wonderfully played.
And finally... a modern guitarist whose facial expression rivals that of Julian Bream! In a good way of course. :)
awesome
que maestrazo
Браво
homie slayed it
feel all sounds!
perfect!!!
Alan Davies is a brilliant guitar player
BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE AND GUITAR. WHO IS THE MAKER OF THIS GUITAR?
2:06 The best part !!
Bro, he came.
beautiful, he only messed up on :46 that falsetto harmonic.. otherwise very nice... and gestures too... I like it when musicians get into the music so close and become one :)
Hey Brain, it's "false harmonic", not 'fasetto' harmonic !! Falsetto is when a male singer trips his vocal cords to sound in the female range. Frankie Valli of the "4 Seasons" singing " Sherry " is a perfect example of falsetto....M
your are right Mark..! thanks for pointing that out... I often call falsetto to anything that it's false :) but false harmonic is the right description of it...
Guess what...females do have falsetto. Singing teachers can say what they want to believe. It is proven and studied.
Vennard, William (1967). Singing: The Mechanism and the Technic. Carl Fischer
Alan Davies?
Imagine if he'd only practice once in a while ! !
Você, com certeza, não conhece Dimitri Illarionov, Roland Dyens, Aniello Desiderio, etc...
ENTÃO, NÃO SABE O QUE DIZ!
Really well playing. This piece sounds quite Villa-Lobos inspired.
This is not Roland Dyens piece, its from a Brazilian composer: Assad.
4 years ago but still: you're wrong
You sir are an idiot !! This IS the late Roland Dyens' composition. I play. I own a copy.. I know ...M
Of course it's Roland Dyens 's piece
playing badly
Listen to Roland playing it
You'll know how it is smooth
Yeah he didn't Play half of the stuff Roland Played.
show me the RUclips video link for Roland Dyens on this song.
Makes a mistake at 3:33
Listen carefully
FAIL!
First of all this isnt fail, because everyone makes mistakes and fail is your comment.
Well grab your guitar, go on the same stage in front of the same big silent crowd and we'll listen to your much more perfect musical version I suppose, classical guitarist is not the easiest job on the planet, anything can happen on stage, it's not like recording in a studio or practicing at home. I'm struck by his musicality and how he makes various phrases sing beautifully and how the piece goes through different atmospheres but still with balance, this performance is definitely a good one and makes me want to practice this piece.
Is it cramping?
I can't believe there were such bad guitarists in those days, I thought only now RUclips is popular with such fools.
