That is a freaking gorgeous sled! I am mad jealous!!! You have the best sled, with the best technology literally in the entire industry! I have to wait another year until I am able to get one of these! Your very lucky you were able to get ahold of one of these!!!

Congrats on the new sled! It seems the older I get the more I realize fun on a sled is inversely proportional to HP. I'll never have as much fun as I did on the old 12/3 Oly!
I have a plain Jane Expedition 900 Ace and do a LOT of ice fishing. Next to my Strikemaster 40v auger it was the best investment I’ve made for ice fishing. Live just below Moosehead and do a lot of trail riding, maybe would go with the turbo R if it was available in 2019. Not that often I would need (I guess I should say desire) the extra horsepower. Just the best sled out there for ice fishing. Congratulations!

We got the SE 900 Turbo. Added the auger mount and the extra seat storage. Probally going to buy the Otter flip over now to replace our Otter Lodge Hub. Great videos!

Nice. I picked up my first Ski-Doo this year as well...a Expedition SE, but with the 850 e-Tec. Same thoughts as you getting out with the wife for some MN ice fishing and some trail riding. Now it just needs to show up!!
My machine showed up last day of October but with no accessories on it and yesterday I picked up the 5 grand in accessories, ski skins are a must for the deep stuff.

I would recommend checking your wiring route on the airshock pump under the panel by the chain case, I had to remove and relocate some zip ties to prevent damages,
My exact machine showed up 3 weeks ago ,and I've already rode it in alaska and it will pull the guts out of my 850 etc it will lift the skis 3 feet from a flat

Just picked up the 2020 expedition fully loaded with only 1200 miles on it I’m beyond excited for this Ice fishing season oh and mines the 900 ace turbo 150hp.
Can't beat that machine, Must have been tough changing over from Cat but there's nothing like the expedition.

you'll be happy with it. there is value in something new and reliable. not saying new sleds dont break just saying you have a better chance to not worry about it and more energy can be focused on enjoying your trips.

Just curious, years back Skidoo had a poorly designed motor which used a plastic gear mounted internally, believe it drove the oil pump that tended to give out. Trying to reduce noise but no durability. Ya you can not beat the reliability of the old 60's, 70's and 80's units, Bullitt proof.

It’s called the Low windshield for Gen 4. I don’t have part number. Got it used locally.

Great video. I ordered the same one and am waiting for it. Using mine the same way you are. Ice fishing and trail riding. You probably haven't had a chance to ride it yet but wondering what your first impression of the reversible throttle is? Seems like a cool idea, but sometimes that doesn't translate to works great in the real world.

Awesome machine but if u do much off trail and trail breaking do yourself a favor and change that snowflap to the one off scandic

Howdy, curious why you need ice scratchers when you have a radiator
keep the sliders in track cool when running straight ice. if not they can melt

Did you order your sled with the upgraded dash? Curious about when you placed your order. I placed my order on 3/05 and have yet to hear anything.

Yea well Mines the r with a 24 wide track and you can lift the skis 2 to 3 feet from a flat just squash the throttle down and hold it.

I’ll see you at Kineo. Everybody’s got their reason. But it makes me so mad when people like you put out a video and talk and talk and talk about your sled. Where are you? Got it when you got it. How much you like it, what are you gonna do with it, you even go so far as to say it was expensive. But you don’t have the nuts to tell everybody what you paid for it. That’s what everybody wants to know. Very disappointing to give all that information and not the price. This video could be out there for 20 years and someone 20 years from now would find it very entertaining to find out what you paid for it back then. It is vital information. So what if you got a good deal or you got a bad deal. Don’t be a pansy. Tell people what you paid for it. In the video.

But yes, I wanted to know how much you paid for it. If, one of your buddies bought the sled and you were ice fishing, you would want to know wouldn’t you? If your dad got it, wouldn’t you want to know how much he paid for it? It’s a big part of the story. I’m just letting you know, that as a listener, it’s a huge part of the story. It’s completely relevant and something that you yourself would want to know. I understand when I watch track talk, or some of the expert professional sled, endorsers that you may not get that information. But yours is more personal as you tell the whole story about your previous lead, and how you made the decision to buy it. What you got And loads of information about what you got. Where are you bought it. Did it not occur to you that your friends would like to know how much you paid for it? Everybody’s happy for you of course. But that was a major detail that you intentionally left out. That’s all. I was especially excited to hear you mention Moosehead Lake. I’m sure we’ve passed each other on the lake or on the trails. If I pulled up alongside you at Pittston’s farm, I would tell you how sexy that sled is and ask you how much you paid for it. And if you said, I’d rather not say. I would say that’s cool. Have a good day and think nothing of it. It’s your own business. But when you make a public video like that, with so much detail and neglect. Intentionally to leave that out. It’s a bummer.
