My personal inspiration is a not-so-famous 5'7 guy. I used to be hopeless because of my height until I saw him IRL. His vertical is probably around 35-40 inches, and can spike over 190cm blockers with ease. I really wanna have his hops one day :)

But I don't like his gesture, I think he's moving down his left arm quite too soon on his spike, giving a lot of info on where he's gonna hit.

If you're playing at amateur / half proffesionall level 180 is enough with good hops. Im 186 with around 330-340 range and its good. Good luck!

There were even shorter - Cuban Ernesto Martinez.. He was a member of NT. However this time all players were much shorter as nowadays cca 13 cm. Rules of net hights should be changed. To rise them at least 15 cm as for men also for women..
