The song is actually in the style of Chinese music. More specifically, the style is called "Wuxia". It's not "Japanese Music" per se despite the language being in Japanese. A lot of it has to do with the developer of the game being Chinese and the game being marketed towards the Chinese populace. The game just happen to have a Japanese theme and story.
