Universe seems like such a great mode, but every year I just go back to using Excel Spreadsheet and book/create my own PPVs using the entire roster (including CAWs). It's much easier to implement everyone on the roster, which gives everyone a chance at winning a title. Plus I use a plethora of title belts and after the PPV every title holder will compete for The World Heavyweight Championship. This saves me so much time compared to Universe Mode. The only negative with it is there are no sort of storylines or promos. (Sigh) I wish 2K would give us a Create-A-Story Mode.

For Example: Murfs Used 20-25 People, That’s How Many He Wants, But If I Had To Give A Number, I Would Say Have The Roster Be 25-30 People, 20 Seems A Little Risky As The Roster Seems A Little Thin & 35 Just Seems Too Big To Me. • If You’re Starting Up, I Recommend You Use 1 Show For A While, Test The Waters With Just 1 & See The Difficultly Of Making The 1 Show. If You Find It Straightforward, Easy & Quick, Maybe Try Making 2 Shows, See How It Would Work. If You Find Make The 1 Show Quite Hard & Complex, Maybe Just Stick To The 1 Show & Reduce The Duration Of The Shows. For Example: Delzinski’s Shows Vary From 35-50 Minutes Each Week. Mathwiz97X’s Shows Vary From 30-40 Minutes. Murfsyt13’s Shows Vary From 35-60 Minutes. I don’t know how rare this is and you probably think I’m lying but I swear to god I got curt hawking in the top ten ranks, win a rivalry against Seth Rollins, get the international championship, and beat others like finn balor.
With one of my friends, we are doing a universe mode, in universe mode and we have three brands : Raw, Smackdown, and WCW. For now, at the moment, WCW is dominating the two other brands. I have brought back the TV Title, and Tye dillinger is dominating the division.
What helped me is I have the notepad on my phone I use for separate notes with my Raw, Smackdown, and AEW rosters! Literally have their name and in parenthesis next to their name is whether they are (Face-Tweener-Heel) and my tag teams of each show at the bottom! It helps with managing the shows!
I started a universe just a little bit ago. I’m doing a smack down and raw but I’m doing it with 2 of my friends I run raw one of them runs smackdown the other runs NXT
Great advise. I always do a fantasy draft for which brand they would fit well (Ex: AJ Styles, Bayley, Charlotte to Smackdown/Daniel Bryan, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks to Raw etc.), but I never execute the storyline well.
I booked Smackdown Live in WWE 2K18 currently booking BOTH RAW & SDLive in WWE 2K19. I had a buddy of mine act as Commissioner and draft for RAW as I drafted for SDLive. This helped to make my booking decisions for each show more challenging as well as more entertaining not only for myself but for ALL OF YOU because not every superstar that I wanted on SDLive were available for me to take.. Although I struggle to get 10 VIEWS on each episode, I’m enjoying making each one because I know the directions I’m taking each show & the idea of wrestling fans thoroughly enjoying my creative decisions gets me excited. I’d advise everyone to come up with a storyboard of sorts BEFORE you make the 1st official episode for either show. The earlier you solidify your plans and intentions for each show AND key in on your key superstars, the better your shows will become. This will give you a clearer understanding of what your vision is & gives the viewers a better product. As a person who has creative juices flowing AT ALL TIMES, I’ll admit that I constantly overthink my booking ideas because I’m always thinking of new ideas for each show & superstar to make my product the ABSOLUTE SHITS. I currently have 2 episodes for each show up on my channel with 2 more waiting to be pieced together. I normally do two Raw and Smackdown, I cut the match card down to 5 and limit the roster to 35 superstars a piece, each brand has 4 titles and also have limited pay per views to 8 instead of 12 makes the feel feuds better especially longer ones a bigger payoffs, I keep normally two championship feuds and non a title one.
I do get this is 2 years later, and Idk if you found a way to do this or if you still do this, either way, heres the two things that I alway try to keep in mind with my match cards. I hope it helps! - Debate what your top 3 best matches are and put the third one at the start of the card so then you have a good match to start the show. #2 is Co-Main Event and #1 is Main Event, of course. Or you could put #2 at the start and #3 on the co-main, but always have #1 at the main event. - Almost every match should have a purpose and not two people aimlessly wrestling for the sake of wrestling, like putting the champion in a match and making him look strong if he's a dominant champion, however if he's a heel, more specifically the cheat-to-win or will take a countout win, then you can make him win via countout, if the titles on the line, then make him get DQ'd so he can keep the title. I'm kinda flirting with the idea of an old school wrestling territories type deal. Maybe something called "The IWA" ( International Wrestling Association ) and make the WWE, WCW and ECW, IWA sanctioned brands and also make an all female wrestling promotion for the IWA.
I’m perfectly fine with drafting rosters, but my issue is how to actually book a weekly show of raw/ smack down. I don’t know how to progress towards a big match or paper view and every time I try letting the computer book my universe mode, I end up getting matches like AJ Styles vs Roman Reigns every single week! Please help Delzinski and release a video on booking, that would be greatly appreciated and love the content by the way! Keep it up!

As far as I know, there's no way to integrate General Managers into Universe mode. I assume for this point, you were specifically targeting people who want to edit together their Universe mode footage with non-Universe mode footage to create custom stories?
I do raw and SmackDown plus ppvs on a Sunday and live events every two weeks on Saturdays I have two mid card titles two mid card titles one low card title and I use jobbers on live events. Females are on both brands and legends are on both brands. I do a draft each year and a superstar shake up every two months

I like the way I do it myself but I like to see how others do it also to give me ideas sometimes. I just want to share how I do mine also in case it can be helpful to others too. My first slot has shows based on wrestling styles. I downloaded Lucha Underground from Community creations and that show has cruiserweights, High Flyers and Lucha style wrestling wrestlers and all the matches are different variants of Falls Count Anywhere. My second show is Tribute to the Troops and I made that a pro wrestling show which contain technical wrestlers only with submission signature or finishers and all the matches are different variants of pin or submission clean matches. My third show is ECW modern day with only extreme style wrestlers and powerhouses. Also the aggressive tag teams and the aggressive extreme style women wrestlers are on this show and all the matches are different variants of Extreme Rules and backstage brawls. My fourth show is EVOLUTION with all women wrestlers and all the match types are random. And my fifth and final show is ALL IN with tag teams only and all the match types are different variants of tag team based matches of tag team and Triple tag team. I've also made 3 on 3 match types for the show so that my teams of 3 can be featured every week Every month I select two different shows to host depending on what the pay-per-view is. I turn off all automatic selections and do them myself to have that semi GM feel. I try to keep eight wrestlers for each division so it doesn't get overwhelming. My universe is based on diversity and variety to keep the entertainment and fun Factor going. Feel free to use this info to your advantage and tell me how it works for you. its hard to explain how i run my universe mode. I put all superstars on both shows and have them go for 2 titles, 1 on each show, either World+Single/Tag+Single/Tag+World/(I only have 1 World WWE title both shows share). This way they and you can be double champions. They can go for one title per show which sucks. I add both shows to all PPVs. I delete NXT and 205 as the superstars are already on RAW and SD. I add Main Event on Saturdays for both shows. I add myself to the Main Events of Main Event Show every week until I start to appear on RAW and/or SD, I then turn my minor show appearances OFF after I start appearing on RAW/SD. I take whatever matches they give me and if I lose one (yes I lose from time to time, turn your attributes down for durability and power and pin escape and its more even on NORMAL and HARD) then I rival with that superstar SHORT and square up at the PPV. When I reach #1 contender I place myself in a rivalry with the champ. I do this when I #1 contend for the world title as a singles champion too, make a duplicate title of the one you are holding and give it to your opponent, make the match title for title and put up opponents duplicate title, dont watch the entrances but watch the in ring intro for the title screen, and then enjoy the dual champion victory at the end without ruining your title stats.

I have three brands on my universe Mode currently (Raw,Smackdown, NXT) and my main thing is that every roster is even or balanced. I have several superstars in each of the categories that were mentioned (main event mid card etc) but I keep it open to where they could move up and down depending on their current storylines or momentum. In 2k16 I had four brands with the last being one for legends but found that was way too much and after this current year I’m going to go to just raw and Smackdown and draft NXT stars to either brand at the beginning of next year.
Have u ever looked into getting wrestlers from other brands like TNA, NJPW, etc… I watch a universe mode by ProJaked he’s amazing at producing shows and I feel like a lot of people could learn from him
you can get an elgato and plug in to your console then save it into a usb then put it into your computer (or whatever you use to edit) edit it then u can upload like delzinski
I want to have an awesome universe but I can’t afford any wrestlers there so expensive and I want legends incorporated in my league because that’s what I grew up with and I would have a lot of different brands

Even Fandango tweeted that he was a fan of a certain Wrestlers who wasn't a big Superstar but he said that he would never call him a Jobber. Plus things change in Wrestling, look at EC3 since he came back, he lost most of his matches but i would never call him a Jobber plus at some point things will change, he might he even become champion ! So there's no "Jobber". Just appreciate every talents for what they bring to the table and talents who put over other talents like a Heath Slater but also just like a John Cena who'll lose to Nakamura or AJ Styles or Rollins to push them to the Top Spot !

I do raw and SmackDown plus ppvs on a Sunday and live events every two weeks on Saturdays
I have two mid card titles two mid card titles one low card title and I use jobbers on live events. Females are on both brands and legends are on both brands. I do a draft each year and a superstar shake up every two months

Keep up the good work brother!👍I've always looked for a RUclipsr with pointers and tips on how to set up universe mode. I like the way I do it myself but I like to see how others do it also to give me ideas sometimes. I just want to share how I do mine also in case it can be helpful to others too.
My first slot has shows based on wrestling styles. I downloaded Lucha Underground from Community creations and that show has cruiserweights, High Flyers and Lucha style wrestling wrestlers and all the matches are different variants of Falls Count Anywhere. My second show is Tribute to the Troops and I made that a pro wrestling show which contain technical wrestlers only with submission signature or finishers and all the matches are different variants of pin or submission clean matches.
My third show is ECW modern day with only extreme style wrestlers and powerhouses. Also the aggressive tag teams and the aggressive extreme style women wrestlers are on this show and all the matches are different variants of Extreme Rules and backstage brawls.
My fourth show is EVOLUTION with all women wrestlers and all the match types are random.
And my fifth and final show is ALL IN with tag teams only and all the match types are different variants of tag team based matches of tag team and Triple tag team. I've also made 3 on 3 match types for the show so that my teams of 3 can be featured every week
Every month I select two different shows to host depending on what the pay-per-view is. I turn off all automatic selections and do them myself to have that semi GM feel. I try to keep eight wrestlers for each division so it doesn't get overwhelming.
My universe is based on diversity and variety to keep the entertainment and fun Factor going.

I had built up fandango by winning the ic championship on SummerSlam and he won the wwe world title at WrestleMania
its hard to explain how i run my universe mode. I put all superstars on both shows and have them go for 2 titles, 1 on each show, either World+Single/Tag+Single/Tag+World/(I only have 1 World WWE title both shows share). This way they and you can be double champions. They can go for one title per show which sucks. I add both shows to all PPVs. I delete NXT and 205 as the superstars are already on RAW and SD. I add Main Event on Saturdays for both shows. I add myself to the Main Events of Main Event Show every week until I start to appear on RAW and/or SD, I then turn my minor show appearances OFF after I start appearing on RAW/SD. I take whatever matches they give me and if I lose one (yes I lose from time to time, turn your attributes down for durability and power and pin escape and its more even on NORMAL and HARD) then I rival with that superstar SHORT and square up at the PPV. When I reach #1 contender I place myself in a rivalry with the champ. I do this when I #1 contend for the world title as a singles champion too, make a duplicate title of the one you are holding and give it to your opponent, make the match title for title and put up opponents duplicate title, dont watch the entrances but watch the in ring intro for the title screen, and then enjoy the dual champion victory at the end without ruining your title stats.

Did a Ruthless Aggression universe mode by downloading real CAW wrestlers and importing their attire on wrestlers they remind me of Braun strowman has on ryback attire

I have three brands on my universe Mode currently (Raw,Smackdown, NXT) and my main thing is that every roster is even or balanced. I have several superstars in each of the categories that were mentioned (main event mid card etc) but I keep it open to where they could move up and down depending on their current storylines or momentum.
In 2k16 I had four brands with the last being one for legends but found that was way too much and after this current year I’m going to go to just raw and Smackdown and draft NXT stars to either brand at the beginning of next year.
I usually have all the old superstars on a Saturday night called wwe old school

Have u ever looked into getting wrestlers from other brands like TNA, NJPW, etc… I watch a universe mode by ProJaked he’s amazing at producing shows and I feel like a lot of people could learn from him

you can get an elgato and plug in to your console then save it into a usb then put it into your computer (or whatever you use to edit) edit it then u can upload like delzinski

@@magickgnome3928 cause you don't call talents "Jobbers" that's disrespectful ! They're all talented regardless in what position they're put in. Even Fandango tweeted that he was a fan of a certain Wrestlers who wasn't a big Superstar but he said that he would never call him a Jobber. Plus things change in Wrestling, look at EC3 since he came back, he lost most of his matches but i would never call him a Jobber plus at some point things will change, he might he even become champion ! So there's no "Jobber". Just appreciate every talents for what they bring to the table and talents who put over other talents like a Heath Slater but also just like a John Cena who'll lose to Nakamura or AJ Styles or Rollins to push them to the Top Spot !
