Yes I totally agree. Me and some of my boys were saying the same thing. We came to the conclusion that this generation of rappers is just full of ‘pretty boys’ and people who are rapping just for the money. What I mean by pretty boys is they are just about the aesthetic and the look that comes with being a rapper. They ain’t doing it for the actual love of hip hop and you can tell. Every week there’s a new rapper who makes a catchy song, blows up, signs a deal sent from the grim reaper himself, then buys all the watches and chains they can and then dies out. Like think about jay z era. Yh they had the jewelery but them boys were rapping like the rent due. And there were soo many of them. I got a good feeling though that times coming back beacuse I feel like we starting to realise as a community that we are tired of this degenerate garbage that’s being produced
