The whole video and philosophy is so FF14-pilled that it's insane... Shadowbringers and Endwalker especially. You have to experience it one day. Anyways, peak video! FFVII will forever one of my favorite stories.
@@TheFlipsideShow Oh I'm sure people would love to hear it! Your videos are super relatable and deep. I love it. BTW. if you can, be sure to do the raids, alliance raids and trial series. Some of the best stories are there and they're all relevant to MSQ. Each expansion and base ARR have raid and alliance raid series and HW, STB and ShB have trial series. All are incredibly relevant & will enhance your MSQ & overall experience to a whole new level!
I’m planning on whenever Part 3 is out I will make another mega video on FFVII, I don’t want to make any comments on the story before it is completed - however I love it and where it’s going so far!
Final fantasy 7 is my childhood and to this day most favorite game/story I have experienced. I couldn’t agree more with you. With a stressful job scraping by living paycheck to paycheck to support a child and wife. I needed to hear this. My time is limited and I can’t just waste it away being upset by negative instances. Thank you man!
It was so awesome watching and listening to another one of your videos brother. This philosophy, this sentiment, the outlook on life that we’ve talked about and discussed, was nothing short of beautiful to see it being part of your love for FFVII. I love every video of yours, and this one is truly your best yet in my opinion. Not only does it encapsulate the motivations and developments of the characters in the game, but you find ways to relate to it that you use in your life as well. Cloud is strong because he experiences these hardships and presses through because he has people around him, and you are the same. Despite these terrifying possibilities that life throws at us, you still find ways to overcome them. You’ve formed these mature and admirable outlooks on your life, and continue to inspire us through your videos, your humor, your compassion, and just being you. It’s my greatest honor having known you brother, and I will be forever grateful to call you my friend and watch your videos. I can’t wait until the next time we can hang out so we can talk all the more about Final Fantasy and everything happening. I truly love this video and I know I’ll go back to it any time that I need a refresher or a reminder that there is always a reason to keep going, and for me that reason is knowing you will be there for me, just as I try to be for you. I love you brother, and I’ll see you soon!
I played the original FF7 a few years ago and it changed my life forever! I'm not going to go into sad things but FF7 reminded me why i love life and set me back on track to making my own games. I like the point you make about the snowboarding after Aerith's death meaning you shouldn't even let the death of people you love halt your life to the point you can't enjoy yourself anymore because time is valuable, it's a really good point about the part of the game people like to make fun of and honestly it's one of the many things i love about FF7. No matter how dark it get's FF7 always finds a way to balance it with something fun, funny or kind, for better or worse for it's story but i love it anyway. Amazing video and i hope Rebirth is everything you ever wanted.
I've yet to finish FFVII, and I started well-after I heard about Aerith dying. I hadn't been inspired to complete it, but maybe there's something to me starting over again and seeing it through your perspective. I found a lot of the minigames tedious and even not very fun. But I wonder if I wasn't playing the game like an RPG. A _role-playing_ game. And imagining, against an godlike foe and certainty death, choosing to enjoy life for what it is and spending my little free time with my crew of those fighting with me in the same way I spend my little free time IRL doing the things I love. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, feelings, and vulnerabilities.
I hope if you replay the game you find a better time with it. Thank you so much for sharing your own thoughts and responses to the video, it means a lot to me.

Playing through Heavensward right now! I’d love to make a video on it one day, just so much to talk about that it’s a bit intimidating!

Excited for a new Final Fantasy VII video. Pre ordered Rebirth Digital Deluxe because it’s going to be a great game!

Best game ever made. By a huge margin.
