Mostly agree with the video, though I think Deviljho handles the fall from the hawk better than you might expect. In Monster Hunter World, one of the locales, the Ancient Forest, features a giant Rathalos nest built on a cliff. I couldn't possibly give you can exact height estimation of how high up the nest is, but its easily several hundred feet. Literally the tallest point on the map to one of the lowest. Its actually possible to push Jho off that cliff, either by making him run off it by shooting him in the face, or by breaking a nearby dam and using the force of the ensuing flood to force him off. If Deviljho is already critically injured and close to death, the fall has a pretty decent chance of killing him. But, if not, Jho can get back up without so much as a limp, and still have plenty of gas left in the tank to keep fighting. Don't get me wrong, it definitely hurts, but an impact like that isn't garunteed crippling for a healthy Deviljho
I somewhat agree with the video because deviljho does extremely high jumps in monster hunter so deviljho would easily survive that fall. It's body mass would protect it.
Isn't it like 180 meters something like that? sounds about right just from me remember the camp up there always being like 160m away. Near 600 feet isn't something to scoff at basically.
Something else to add that seems to be forgotten is the weird biology of the Deviljho that being that once it heats up the body steams dangerously which does mean that the avian would let go due to the intense heat from it's anger alone. so they would have to go for the pecking but with the speed of the Deviljho it could actually end up with the verosity of the Deviljho taking the win as the deviljho's instinct tells it everything is food and it must consume.
I think when you're a creature that casually hunts Elder Dragons, these walking natural disasters and mass extinction events would find Skull Island a nice walk in the park.
@@eduardojara6955 Deviljho doesn't actively hunt them down though, that's what they're saying. OK monster Hunter diehard fan and fan of your channel. I just wanted to say I love this video. It is mostly accurate. You have done your research for the raging pickle. That being said there’s one thing you got wrong. He’s gonna kill that bird despite the huge size difference between the two there’s some factors that make it so the pickle comes out on top One he has the ability to expand his muscles to such a degree that he nearly triples his strength so the moment he even lance the slightest hit on the bird he is doing major damage, something as minor as a painful bruise to bone fractures Too, he could definitely survive a fall from that height with no damage because humans in this universe canonically are able to withstand atmospheric reentry and creatures flying at escape, velocity crashing into them Three the fire it’s not really fire it’s more so an acidic mist sort of like gas best example like you give is mustard gas it’s essentially mustard gas but 1 billion times worse so if it lands a hit, it’s not only gonna scorch the bird. It’s also going to poison and weaken the bird as it causes muscles to loosen So with extreme difficulty, yes this fight would be one that the devil could die way more often than not he would still survive But he will definitely take chunks out of the Kraken. It’s durability is whack. The only one that could actually just abuse. The pickle with no consequence is. Camozotz as much as I hate that thing I have to admit that it’s going to clobber any devil Joe Get a savage one and it is at a bare minimum, making it to category one
Ngl I think he got the size of the Hawk wrong as well. I saw a shot of the Hawk standing next to a person, and it's around the size of Deviljho if not a tiny bit smaller. Regardless though, working on this video's thumbnail was super fun and I hope to see more MH videos from GojiGuy in the future
as an og monsterhunter player and fan of the series your mostly correct and while i will say that deviljho would win against the kraken unfortunetly i do believe it would still loose against the bird mostly because of what type of hunter that bird is its a hawk in other words its an ambush predator and likely incredibly smart the fact is i dont see deviljho actually managing to get any attacks off on the hawk the hawk will see its general shape and likely go for a quick kill attack and while yes the way goji guy showed it isnt entirely accurate the hawks size is also pretty inconsistant anyway but the diagram is still close enough the fact of the matter is that the hawk isnt going to treat the deviljho like passive prey its going to try to make its first strike a kill strike its either going to try and gut deviljho out the gate with its talons. puncturing as many organs as it possably can in one grab or alternativly just bisect deviljho with a bite after slamming deviljho to the ground by landing right on top of him the only chance for a deviljho victory is if it's the special mega deviljho from event quests who would actualy be on par with the bird
i love monster hunter but deviljho will not beat Ramarak. Size alone deviljho is 40m long/30ft tall vs Ramarak 50m TALL/100m LONG. Now a regular skullcrawler has no chance. If Kraken can yeet a whale across skull island to piss off Kong, do you really think deviljho can take him?
Some notes about deviljho - Dragon element in mh corrupts those who use it and the minds or senses of those afflicted by it, so it while it would slowly corrupt a deviljho and make it even more savage, it would have a similar effect on those hit by it, and assuming what happens in game when you get hit by it, it could act as a propulsive breath attack, being able to push enemies away - According to the most recent source, deviljho's biteforce is not that strong, it relies mostly on its bodyweight, acidic saliva, and many teeth to damage prey - If left unchecked they can eat a majority of the environment to near or total extinction, meaning that for anything that needs food, even if its much larger, it still poses a threat All in all, amazing video, hoping for more mh content in the future, a video on dalamadur or zorah would be cool, both beeing larger than godzilla
there is an exception to the dragon element corruption part though that being the valstrax species (except crimson but i'll get to that later) as its dragon organ is extremely developed and pretty much isolated from most of its body so while yes it burns through energy its not detrimental and forces it to keep on hunting like a deviljho and before anyone asks BuT YoU CaNt hArVeSt dragon organs well thats because theyre pretty much useless/ poisonous to humans and people dont harvest them just like people dont harvest anjanath's giant nose thing... crimson however happens when that isolated part of a valstrax's body gets damaged allowing the unrestrained dragon energy to destroy its body causing it to go mad
I got curious as a Monster Hunter fan; and the deviljho is stated to have a "bone crushing bite that inflicts heavy damage." If you can, can I get a look into the scans you're saying about it having a weaker bite force? I'm legitimately curious about that??
@ bite force is different from damage bite force is how fast an animal can close its mouth wo while an animal can have a bone cruching bite its bite force can be pretty weak
There is a difference between Savage Deviljho and a regular Deviljho. What you described as Savage Deviljho, is just a regular Deviljho that's pissed off. An actual Savage Deviljho is a Deviljho permanently stuck in that enraged state, SD's are also in constant pain and starvation. Also: Now I wanna sea Dalamadur vs Tiamat
Dalamadur would absolutely destroy Tiamat imo. Tiamat's official size is about 850ft while Dalamadur's is 1450ft, he can create localized meteor storms, breathe full-sized tornadoes of blue fire, and is strong enough to carve mountains just by moving around. If you go by his speculative maximum size based on the skeletons in the rotten vale, he could get up to 7 miles long, so he would easily be a top tier threat in the monsterverse, if not the single most powerful kaiju
@@jasongordon1968 And Tiamat is also the Queen of Dragons, she's so unbelievably powerful that she makes the other D&D Gods weak in comparison. Also, Dalamadur would fold instantly as Tiamat can create an avatar for herself inside him and chestburster her way out Alien style.
@@LordCrate-du8zmthey aren't talking about dnd tiamat but the monster verse version. Which if I remember right was killed by godzilla in like 5 minutes in the newest king Kong movie
In case you were wondering where the 41 metre length figure came from, it was a Deviljho exclusive to a quest in MH3 named "World Eater". The normal size range on MHW is 18-25 metres.
@@-samart2004- I can only find a single reddit post in regards to this, and the comments below it point to that size being a result of the host modifying the quest. You cannot get a Deviljho that size in MHW.
It’s more so due to a Deviljho just losing the ability to feel full at all due to a genetic anomaly that causes it to produce far more energy than normal, its metabolism skyrockets to such an astronomical level that it basically just kills ANYTHING it can to eat (their own kind included). But it’s all in vain as it will ultimately succumb to starvation.
@Vessel396-r3eActually the canon explanation of Savage Deviljho is that it’s a particular individual that has outlived its kind. An animal like Deviljho while powerful is still susceptible to fighting it’s competitors and if they don’t get to eat their needed calories then they die off. A Savage Deviljho is one that has beaten **all** of its competitors and becomes the apex of it’s territory, losing its mental state due to the accumulated dragon energy from the freedom of eating everything
Dude, this video is awesome, and as a BIG fan of Monster Hunter I LOVE how you’re entering it. And you did do Deviljho quite accurate, I won’t go into the nit and gritty details because i saw another comment doing that a lot better, but you did quite a good job. Though, it would be interesting to see some of Monster Hunter’s Kaiju sized Dragons go up against the Monster Verse… Gogmazios and Dalamadur would be VERY fun to see in this kind of format! Keep up the great work, Goji Guy!
@billtimothyimmanuelsiraitg4166 Unfortunately even the Black Dragons aren't much compared to Godzilla. Funny enough there are about 3 monsters that can even prove a challenge(Zorah Magdaros, Dalamadur, Dire Miralis), but it'd still be a fun video. I'm hesitant to even include Fatalis or Alatreon given their largest attacks are things Godzilla shrugs off on a daily basis.
@@MyNameisGon Yeah, I can definitely see Godzilla struggling against Zorah Magdaros, Dalamadur, and Dire Miralis. I mean, given their sheer size and their experience to reach this mark, what with one being a giant volcano turtle, another a giant cobra with legs and is covered in razor blades, and of course the last being a larger relative of Fatalis that has magma coursing through his veins and killed an entire ocean just by sitting there. Yeah, Goji's gonna struggle with these guys.
isn't Deviljho technically a budget size Godzilla? i'm a seasoned hunter who's been playing MH games since 2011 and in universe lore Deviljho is considered to be a living extinction event and it's insatiable hunger and durability is insane, for example being able to tank BOMBS that can blow up and massive craters , trade blows with Elder dragons that can manipulate weather and change the environment around them, surviving falls from great heights.
"The dreaded, nomadic Deviljho have no specific territory of their own. Their muscles swell if provoked, revealing old wounds. Needing to feed constantly due to high body heat, they can hunt nearby animals to extinction" -Description for Deviljho in MH: 3 "Due to its enhanced metabolism, Deviljho must constantly seek out prey. It is extremely violent, and known to snatch up large monsters in its powerful maw and flail them around." -Description in MH: World Assuming the wiki I got these descriptions from are accurate then you are technically correct but keep in mind Deviljho are capable of causing extinctions in its own setting. Skull island is an entirely different environment and we can only speculate. I assume it can cause extinctions for category 1-3 monsters just fine. Cat 4 and higher even if Deviljho can't win individual fights it can still ruin the food chain. From memory all hunts we go on in the MH games has to be guild certified because our jobs is to protect ecosystems from being destroyed. My only real criticism is the lack of scaling 2:26 which is understandable since Goji Guy hasn't played the games. Regardless they did do research which is good and if they plan on doing more Monster Hunter content I think it's best if they played the games or collaborated with experienced people or made a forum for other people to help gather information. This video was made with bare minimum knowledge which is fine and I still found it enjoyable.
Great video! Monster hunter vs monster verse is a fun matchup and I’d love to see you get more invested in MH lore. The only real errors I saw were getting damaged by things the pickle definitely can (and has survived against) these mainly include: the use of Dragonblight is mainly disabling elemental abilities of enemies and enhancing your own abilities, jho can jump FREAKISHLY high and take no damage from the fall (tbh I don’t blame you because this is mainly seen in older games). You should definitely do more matchups like this considering how fleshed out and detailed monster hunters ecosystems are, I’m sure you’ll love it!
My one thing with this video is that: Dragon Energy is explicitly not Radioactive energy, it’s something unique entirely to Monster Hunter which is more than likely tied to Bioenergy like what the Jiivas use to feed from the earth and what Elder Dragons have an abundance of
Okay, I'm greatly impressed that Deviljho would be able to make it that high up on its own in the Monsterverse's Skull Island! Heck, it likely would be able to make almost everything there prey for him to feed on that island to a certain point. Still, although I absolutely loved that cover of Dandadan's theme in the beginning's background there and kinda want to find it now... I think you just earned yourself a new subscriber.
I have some good ideas for future videos for you gojiguy. •Could Red survive the Monsterverse? (Godzilla NES, Monsterverse) •Destoroyah vs Red (Godzilla vs Destoroyah, Godzilla NES) •Solomon vs Final wars Gigan (Godzilla NES, Final wars Godzilla)
Maybe these ideas could make for interesting future who would win videos. 4. Indoraptor vs Proto Tyrant (Jurassic World vs Resident Evil) 3. Spinosaurus vs Dinocroc (Jurassic Park vs Sci-fi) 2. Deathclaw vs Nemesis (Fallout vs Resident Evil) 1. Deviljho vs Giganotosaurus (Monster Hunter vs ARK)
@NamelessPigeon-w3r The thing is, Deviljho obviously has better abilities. If that was the only factor, then Pickle-kun would easily win. However, we have to consider how massive is Ark's Giga. Deviljho is bigger than a normal dinosaur, but the Giganotosaurus is almost kaiju sized.
Monster Hunter fan and I love your video. Deviljho would easily be in the upper ranks in Skull Island's food chain but he's definitely weak against aerial opponents.
All of the megafauna in Monster Hunter that isn’t docile threatens death upon everything around them with a pulse just by being their natural selves, and that includes but is not limited to Deviljho.
Great video, as always. Next time you decide to put a Monster Hunter creature in the Monsterverse world, please feature either Nergigante, or any elder dragon.
Deviljho is one of the strongest creatures in the MH universe that isn't an elder dragon, whom have near-human intelligence and powerful elemental abilities at minimum. It's a freight train that can throw around other monsters like rag dolls. Some say Deviljho's hunger is so great that it can eat entire species to extinction. The dragon element is basically concentrated life energy, produced by Jho's near-constant feeding. It can burn and corrode on contact, but it can also act like a steroid, increasing Jho's already massive strength. There are two forms it can take. The regular Deviljho, and the variant Savage Deviljho: which occurs when they engage in cannibalism. Leading to an over-abundance of dragon energy that drives them mad, in both senses of the word. The only reason he's not the top of the food chain is because elder dragons are just that powerful. Jho has minor regenerative capabilities but he's not invincible, and his game plan is just brute force. There's not much he can't out-muscle, but I'd agree the giant eagle is probably the limit for him. If you want a creature that could go all the way: look up Dalamadur or Laviente.
Tbh even tho Peter Jackson’s Kong is much larger then Rajang I still think rajang would body him, rajang is strong enough to over power Deviljho💀 and he is strong enough to break open that wall in the guiding lands to the volcano area. And he just casually hunts down Kirin for the horn to charge up his super sayian mode so he can fire A FUCKING LIGHTNING LAZER mf would demolish 2005 Kong
Couple of things that isn't mentioned/missed about the deviljho. One is that the deviljho's saliva is very acidic (just standing under his mouth and having him drool on you will drop your armor rating) so his chomps deal much more damage then just a normal bite. Two is the fact that Jho regularly has to contend with dozens of other highly dangerous monsters species (with dozens employing the various ambush strategies you mentioned and like over half of the monsters in the game have wings) as well as attacks from other Jho (since they are cannibals). So they are more equipped to detect and deal with ambushes than you seem to give them credit for. Cause you have to remember, Deviljhos are nomadic. They enter other monsters' territories to fight them in their own turf, and then eat them as their normal way of life. So they most definitely have ways to track monsters from a far, detect them in hiding, and handle ambushes. Cause the ones that can't are already dead either from said ambushes or from starving due to not finding food efficiently enough.
Love this video so much! A monster from the Monster Hunter series i think could be quite interesting to see is the Gogmazios. Its definitely on the larger end of the monster spectrum
You are doing great man you do mention quite a lot, but to be fair he is around mid way in all of mh, tho he can fight a continent freezing elder who froze it with ease for a short time but none the less he still did, while also being capable of easily suplexing diablos, who is around the same weight/size as the Skar buffalo. But ya the devilJho full strength is able to overpower everything almost but this was perfect
I dont think this will come out in a lot of situations, but in MonHun the monsters there have a semi Mahoraga adaptability in a sense that the more you use status conditions like para, poison or sleep the more quantity it would take to re apply that but at the same time they are not fully immune. Basically if I use 3 poison arrow on the pickle then once the poison ends I would need to use 6 arrows instead of 3, so a match up like the spirit tiger would always be in favor of the pickle, but this does not translate to elemental damage
I need to know now how the eater of elders itself Nergigante does. With his regeneration and hardening form he would probably put up a great fight. As well as his attitude towards fighting creatures bigger than itself, like when it wanted to conquer zora magdaros
nergigante would absoloutly thrive on skull island with its abundant energy and massive prey that dont hide it has an abundance of energy and if the theory of that it reproduces asexually is true it would become a enviromental nightmare reproducing and eating everything in sight and not like the other monster on the island could do much despite their size because as shown by the zora magdaros fight its smart enough to dodge so my theory is that they would end up evolving to fight in hunting parties not unlike hunters from the actual monster hunter games but probably bigger packs maybe 10 at most and take turn distracting and pouncing on giant monsters and using theire spikes as projectiles sorta like a hornets nest but on steroids and demolishing everything in sight not even kong could destroy them because of this new hunting pack behavior hell they might even take out godzilla if he dosent go underwater
Deviljho stops at the big one SKULLCRAWLER or at the most teenager kong subadult kong full grown adult kong titanus kraken and titanus camazotz that is where Deviljho will stop but if he can become part of the island food chain then yes he can survive monstersverse skull island
If you know anything about Deviljhos they don’t become a part of the food chain the food chain becomes a part of their excretory system meaning they just walk into new food chains and use their invasive nature to eat everything till there’s nothing left
Before I even watched the rest of this video I like the fact that you haven't played the games, it's going to be really interesting to hear an outsider's perspective on devil Joe or any monster for that matter😊😊
Deviljho my boy. Great video, it definitely weird to hear someone call dragon element fire but you did a good job my jho. I will say jho would probably do a better job against the bird then you think.
Huh, another youtuber using 2 of my vids in their video. Noice. I do always wonder if my boi Jho/Savage could survive on Skull Island. Glad you included the one when Savage performs his Dragon nuke. I sometimes hear players never seen Savage do that during their hunts.
Very interesting video, honestly happy that deviljho got some love, but now we need everyone's favorite spikey boy nergigante to join in, hes always been a dragon i feel would love a place like skull island
I found it interesting when you mentioned the spirit tiger has a hallucinogen. This could possibly play to Jhos advantage. Deviljho has an uncontrollable hunger and rage due to his body burning up so much energy. He pretty much has to constantly eat. Also if he starved for to long he will go into a true savage state that enhances everything aspect. even his size, rage and hunger due to going into full survival. It has said he literally destroys ecosystems just by passing by due to just eating everything. He has heightened senses and can sniff, hear, taste, feel anything near by. If it’s nutritious, he’ll find it and eat it, don’t matter the size or how nutritious. He is basically a berserker. In saying this, I wonder if using a highly hallucinogenic toxin on it would create the ultimate eating machine. If his body evolves so much due to anger and hunger, then his evolution is also to do with jhos mental state, almost like the the Incredible Hulk. Sorry for how long it is, just wanting to add a bit of insight to our boy “the world eater”. Great video :)
Great video, I am curious about some of the heavy hitters in the series. Get some black dragons in like Fatalis or Alatreon in, and they'll make it far
Really good video although I think that Jho would be a much stronger rival, you would need someone like Adult Kong to kill it safely (Young Kong would die without a doubt). I would love to see more MH comparisons with the Monsterverse, specially with some of the big Monsters that MH has to offer like Zorah Magdaros, Dalamadur, Jhen Mohran, Dah'ren Mohran, Gogmazios, Gaismagorm, Lao Shan Lung or something like that, to kill those you would need a real big Kaiju. Also I would like to see some of the strongest MH Monsters like Fatalis, Safi'Jiiva, Alatreon, Dire Miralis, those would requiere at least a Burning Godzilla level threat to be killed.
Yeeeeees! More Monster Hunter vs skull island! Rajang, Nargacouga, Kezu, Zinogre and more! Will they make it to Kaiju class? No, but it'll be fun to watch! Now Elder Dragon's on the other hand... Chamelios, Fatalis, Alatrion, Shala Ishvalda? (I know I made spelling mistakes, especially on the last one) Some of these could compete with Kaiju perhaps by ability. And others like Zora Magdoros (but maybe not him specifically) can compete in size. Nergigante would be like the angriest porcupine to kaijus... kinda like a honey badger I bet.
According to lore, the deviljo is constantly hungry and keep capable of depriving an entire area of competition this guy is the equivalent of invasive species hell
I think that Deviljho would have a harder time against the Mire Squid than you initially stated. Mire Squids are no stranger to high temperatures because they secrete boiling ink. It would be more likely that the Deviljho would rip its tentacles apart by thrashing around than getting the Mire Squid to let go due to the sudden rise in temperature. All that being said, great video! I hope you do more MH content. A video on Valstrax would be sick.
I think it'd be fun to see what would happen if the largest monster was plopped into the Monsterverse: Dalamadur. A 1,440 foot long serpent that carves entire mountains into spires of stone to rest on; capable of burrowing at high speeds, breathing intense cyclones of blue flames, a paralyzing bite, spitting fireballs, and dropping burning meteors that seem to never lose their heat. Dalamadur are highly territorial, but as long as Godzilla respects his home, he probably wouldn't cause too much issue beyond the rare times it hunts; or when they shed and temporarily become Shah Dalamadur, their bodies softer and more fragile, but significantly more violent, stronger, and more aggressive.
I would’ve loved to see a story video of this BUT it makes sense why this isn’t a story one. Because deviljho would just walk around hunting EVERYTHING
As Monster Hunter's take on Godzilla, Jho puts on a great showing in his base series as one of the biggest (non-Elder Dragon) fish in the pond. Here he does pretty well! I agree that Jho does cap out eventually due to getting sizegapped, but he would probably does land around the middle of the ladder. I can't recommend Monster Hunter enough, there are some really great beasts to think about in the franchise!
I’d love to see more MH beasties face off against the critters of Skull Island! My top suggestion is Nergigante, but it’d be rad to see Zinogre, Glavenus, or Lagiacrus, too!
If you’re doing Jho, might as well do Rajang, seeing as A) If Jho is Zilla, Rang is Kong, and B) funny monkey It’d also be cool if you end up discussing some elder/Black Dragons like Alatreon and the Jiivas. Maybe save the Fatalis trio for WAYYY later though, it’d be a cool spectacle
Ah yes, Skull Island. Sometimes known as Australia stuck on Nightmare Mode and Charles Darwin's Nightmare. Deviljho would do fine, but eventually it would succumb to starvation due to the high amounts of energy it uses.
Great video I think you got it right but you did say at the beginning that deviljho was one of the strongest Monster Hunter has to offer. It is very strong but there are many monsters in monster hunter that out class it like the elder dragons and black dragons. So if you are looking for more from the monster hunter universe you will find some possible titans there.
as a monster hunter veteran since 09, your research was AMAZING there were only a few things you missed! (10K hours so i would know if you missed anything xd)
A great Monster Hunter Video! But here are some notes from a Monster Hunter Enthusiast: Alot of the monsters found in Skull Island has a monster hunter monster equivalent. The crab could be equivalent to Nersylla and Rakna Kadaki, both are spider-like monsters! The bull is equivalent to Duramboros, who has a mace for a tail. Monster Hunter has quite a select few monsters that dwarf's Kong in terms of size, one of them being a Dalamadur, which is 440 meters in terms of length, Jhen Mohran, a giant tusk sand whale which is 111 meters, and Zorah Magdoros, who is twice as tall as Monsterverse Godzilla, and more then eight times heavier! Almost the entirety of Monster Hunter has lore behind the monsters, such as their ecology and behavior. So Monsterverse x MH is a match made in heaven! Just imagine a Dalamadur snaking its way around Skull Island.
Something I'd like to point out. Deviljhos have an extraordinarily fast metabolism which makes them constantly eat causing environments to be unable to satify their hunger. No poisons or hallucinogens would last very long as their body would burn through it very fast
monster hunter has some GREAT monsters. its got some HUGE ones like Zorah magdaros, Dalamadur or Safi Jiiva, If you want some smaller more powerful ones tbh Fatalis or most other elder dragons would be fun to see you work out.
Bro I feel like the spirit Tigers ability literally just digs its own grave you're taking an already insanely aggressive and unpredictable creature and adding a hallucinogenic substance to it there's literally no telling what that Beast would do
The truest threat of a Deviljho is that it constantly eats. It's an extinction event not just from its sheer power but by the fact that it will eat whatever it can kill. From small creatures and up. It'll destroy the ecosystem and while it can be driven off by something more powerful than it, the damage will be done and said creature will have to either do some very dangerous hunts to feed itself, possibly injuring itself, or starve because all the other prey options, even other predators it could eat, are dead and gone. Either way, that makes that once victor now new prey for the Deviljho who definitely will come back if it wasn't killed.
I think Safi'Jiiva would be a fun Monster to run through this same sort of gauntlet, due to it being an Elder Dragon that absorbs Bio Energy to heal and energise itself. Skull Island wouldn't hold it at all, but something similar in principle would be interesting. Even if just in its juvenile state as Xeno'Jiiva
Who would win? Deviljho or Ark Giga?

I couldn't possibly give you can exact height estimation of how high up the nest is, but its easily several hundred feet. Literally the tallest point on the map to one of the lowest. Its actually possible to push Jho off that cliff, either by making him run off it by shooting him in the face, or by breaking a nearby dam and using the force of the ensuing flood to force him off. If Deviljho is already critically injured and close to death, the fall has a pretty decent chance of killing him. But, if not, Jho can get back up without so much as a limp, and still have plenty of gas left in the tank to keep fighting. Don't get me wrong, it definitely hurts, but an impact like that isn't garunteed crippling for a healthy Deviljho

ah yes 6 hours ago when the non-member vid was posted 35 minutes ago
@Happysecret180. They’d all get mauled to oblivion
OK monster Hunter diehard fan and fan of your channel. I just wanted to say I love this video. It is mostly accurate. You have done your research for the raging pickle. That being said there’s one thing you got wrong.
He’s gonna kill that bird despite the huge size difference between the two there’s some factors that make it so the pickle comes out on top
One he has the ability to expand his muscles to such a degree that he nearly triples his strength so the moment he even lance the slightest hit on the bird he is doing major damage, something as minor as a painful bruise to bone fractures
Too, he could definitely survive a fall from that height with no damage because humans in this universe canonically are able to withstand atmospheric reentry and creatures flying at escape, velocity crashing into them
Three the fire it’s not really fire it’s more so an acidic mist sort of like gas best example like you give is mustard gas it’s essentially mustard gas but 1 billion times worse so if it lands a hit, it’s not only gonna scorch the bird. It’s also going to poison and weaken the bird as it causes muscles to loosen
So with extreme difficulty, yes this fight would be one that the devil could die way more often than not he would still survive
But he will definitely take chunks out of the Kraken. It’s durability is whack. The only one that could actually just abuse. The pickle with no consequence is.
Camozotz as much as I hate that thing I have to admit that it’s going to clobber any devil Joe
Get a savage one and it is at a bare minimum, making it to category one
I think auto correct changed point 'two' into 'too' btw. Also very good points my guy
And don't forget dragon breath does damage to the mental stability and can kill elder dragons if they get afflicted.
Ngl I think he got the size of the Hawk wrong as well. I saw a shot of the Hawk standing next to a person, and it's around the size of Deviljho if not a tiny bit smaller. Regardless though, working on this video's thumbnail was super fun and I hope to see more MH videos from GojiGuy in the future
as an og monsterhunter player and fan of the series
your mostly correct
and while i will say that deviljho would win against the kraken
unfortunetly i do believe it would still loose against the bird
mostly because of what type of hunter that bird is
its a hawk in other words its an ambush predator and likely incredibly smart
the fact is i dont see deviljho actually managing to get any attacks off on the hawk
the hawk will see its general shape and likely go for a quick kill attack
and while yes the way goji guy showed it isnt entirely accurate
the hawks size is also pretty inconsistant anyway but the diagram is still close enough
the fact of the matter is that the hawk isnt going to treat the deviljho like passive prey
its going to try to make its first strike a kill strike
its either going to try and gut deviljho out the gate with its talons. puncturing as many organs as it possably can in one grab
or alternativly just bisect deviljho with a bite after slamming deviljho to the ground by landing right on top of him
the only chance for a deviljho victory is if it's the special mega deviljho from event quests who would actualy be on par with the bird
i love monster hunter but deviljho will not beat Ramarak. Size alone deviljho is 40m long/30ft tall vs Ramarak 50m TALL/100m LONG. Now a regular skullcrawler has no chance. If Kraken can yeet a whale across skull island to piss off Kong, do you really think deviljho can take him?
Some notes about deviljho
- Dragon element in mh corrupts those who use it and the minds or senses of those afflicted by it, so it while it would slowly corrupt a deviljho and make it even more savage, it would have a similar effect on those hit by it, and assuming what happens in game when you get hit by it, it could act as a propulsive breath attack, being able to push enemies away
- According to the most recent source, deviljho's biteforce is not that strong, it relies mostly on its bodyweight, acidic saliva, and many teeth to damage prey
- If left unchecked they can eat a majority of the environment to near or total extinction, meaning that for anything that needs food, even if its much larger, it still poses a threat
All in all, amazing video, hoping for more mh content in the future, a video on dalamadur or zorah would be cool, both beeing larger than godzilla
Dalamadur and Zorah Magdaros would be so cool to see in GojiGuy's videos
there is an exception to the dragon element corruption part though that being the valstrax species (except crimson but i'll get to that later) as its dragon organ is extremely developed and pretty much isolated from most of its body so while yes it burns through energy its not detrimental and forces it to keep on hunting like a deviljho and before anyone asks BuT YoU CaNt hArVeSt dragon organs well thats because theyre pretty much useless/ poisonous to humans and people dont harvest them just like people dont harvest anjanath's giant nose thing... crimson however happens when that isolated part of a valstrax's body gets damaged allowing the unrestrained dragon energy to destroy its body causing it to go mad
It has acid spit?!
Damn, so you're doing them a favor by killing SD. Poor pickle.
@@LordCrate-du8zmyea it’s said if they aren’t eating constantly they’ll starve to death. It’s sad
@@Xn00tplex Someone actually managed to find a Deviljho in MHW that was ever so lightly larger than World Eater Deviljho which is insane
@@-samart2004- I can only find a single reddit post in regards to this, and the comments below it point to that size being a result of the host modifying the quest. You cannot get a Deviljho that size in MHW.
WORLD EATER?! WARHAMMER 40K REFERENCE?!
*KILL MAIM BURN DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR*
One thing I did notice that was wrong is that Deviljho can’t just choose to become Savage, it gets that way due to cannibalism of its species.
@ this is also true but I recall reading about how Savage gets its insane amounts of dragon energy from consuming its dragon element rich brothers.
He’s talking about his enraged state
@@NamelessPigeon-w3r ohhh I thought goji meant the variant
@Vessel396-r3eActually the canon explanation of Savage Deviljho is that it’s a particular individual that has outlived its kind. An animal like Deviljho while powerful is still susceptible to fighting it’s competitors and if they don’t get to eat their needed calories then they die off.
A Savage Deviljho is one that has beaten **all** of its competitors and becomes the apex of it’s territory, losing its mental state due to the accumulated dragon energy from the freedom of eating everything
The most powerfull pickle of all time vs monsterverse's Island of death... Ok cool.
Great video! I always love to see Monster Hunter related content. Fatalis vs Hollow Earth would be an extremely cool video to see in the future!

Alatreon and the god damn black dragons,@@MyNameisGon
@billtimothyimmanuelsiraitg4166 Unfortunately even the Black Dragons aren't much compared to Godzilla. Funny enough there are about 3 monsters that can even prove a challenge(Zorah Magdaros, Dalamadur, Dire Miralis), but it'd still be a fun video. I'm hesitant to even include Fatalis or Alatreon given their largest attacks are things Godzilla shrugs off on a daily basis.
@@MyNameisGon
Yeah, I can definitely see Godzilla struggling against Zorah Magdaros, Dalamadur, and Dire Miralis.
It was a genius move to use DAN DA DAN theme song in the back

MONSTER HUNTER IS PEAK
We got it from Godzilla Center.
7:10 "i doubt he would've been the agressor in this situation" ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME PICKLE?!
Love the subtle Otonoke theme in the background
isn't Deviljho technically a budget size Godzilla? i'm a seasoned hunter who's been playing MH games since 2011 and in universe lore Deviljho is considered to be a living extinction event and it's insatiable hunger and durability is insane, for example being able to tank BOMBS that can blow up and massive craters , trade blows with Elder dragons that can manipulate weather and change the environment around them, surviving falls from great heights.
"The dreaded, nomadic Deviljho have no specific territory of their own. Their muscles swell if provoked, revealing old wounds. Needing to feed constantly due to high body heat, they can hunt nearby animals to extinction" -Description for Deviljho in MH: 3
"Due to its enhanced metabolism, Deviljho must constantly seek out prey. It is extremely violent, and known to snatch up large monsters in its powerful maw and flail them around." -Description in MH: World
Assuming the wiki I got these descriptions from are accurate then you are technically correct but keep in mind Deviljho are capable of causing extinctions in its own setting.
My one thing with this video is that:
Dragon Energy is explicitly not Radioactive energy, it’s something unique entirely to Monster Hunter which is more than likely tied to Bioenergy like what the Jiivas use to feed from the earth and what Elder Dragons have an abundance of
Okay, I'm greatly impressed that Deviljho would be able to make it that high up on its own in the Monsterverse's Skull Island!

@@ggwellplay9918 bro my comment got deleted
Monster Hunter fan and I love your video. Deviljho would easily be in the upper ranks in Skull Island's food chain but he's definitely weak against aerial opponents.
All of the megafauna in Monster Hunter that isn’t docile threatens death upon everything around them with a pulse just by being their natural selves, and that includes but is not limited to Deviljho.
Great video, as always.
Next time you decide to put a Monster Hunter creature in the Monsterverse world, please feature either Nergigante, or any elder dragon.
Hell, Fatalis or Alatreon would probably be the some of only ones that go anywhere near the power of the Titans.
That, or the legendary, mythical, unkillable... Palico.
Lol.
What we see: Skull Island a highly dangerous island full of giant monsters.
What Deviljho sees: Oh boy! A all you can eat buffet!
GREAT!! Please do more videos on monster hunter such as Rajang vs 2005 Kong!!
Man these Thumbnails I can't 😭🔥
I would’ve liked to see a “What if King ghidorah was awakened in the New empire instead of KOTM
I forgot about the hawk, damn
Also more Monster Hunter content I need to see my boy Bazelgeuse clear Hollow Earth

Nice looking red thingy on deviljho there 🔴🔴🔴
I dont think this will come out in a lot of situations, but in MonHun the monsters there have a semi Mahoraga adaptability in a sense that the more you use status conditions like para, poison or sleep the more quantity it would take to re apply that but at the same time they are not fully immune.
Basically if I use 3 poison arrow on the pickle then once the poison ends I would need to use 6 arrows instead of 3, so a match up like the spirit tiger would always be in favor of the pickle, but this does not translate to elemental damage
If MHW is anything to go on, he'll probably just pick up the spirit tiger and use it to clobber the other inhabitants of skull island.
I think Nergigante from the Kaiju's pov would be like an aggressive flying honey badger with porcupine quills.

MONSTER HUNTER MENTIONED!!! also otonoke was fire🔥🔥
Literally was wondering this on goji centers comment section
You killed my father!
DevilJho - " For me dear it was Wings Wednesday. "
I would’ve loved to see a story video of this BUT it makes sense why this isn’t a story one. Because deviljho would just walk around hunting EVERYTHING
Goji guy it would be really cool to see you do a let’s play on monster hunter
If you’re doing Jho, might as well do Rajang, seeing as A) If Jho is Zilla, Rang is Kong, and B) funny monkey
It’d also be cool if you end up discussing some elder/Black Dragons like Alatreon and the Jiivas. Maybe save the Fatalis trio for WAYYY later though, it’d be a cool spectacle
If the Deviljho jumps, Skull Island becomes 3 new islands.😂🐊
Bro i just had thought about this for an idea.
Great video tho. :)
PLEASE MAKE MOAR MONSTER HUNTER YOU DID AMAZING

W video ur analysis is awesome!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 BTW YOU SHOULD PLAY MONSTER HUNTER!!!
Ah yes, Skull Island. Sometimes known as Australia stuck on Nightmare Mode and Charles Darwin's Nightmare.
Deviljho would do fine, but eventually it would succumb to starvation due to the high amounts of energy it uses.
Funny thing is that the skull crawlers and deviljho are in a similar situation. Constantly starving.
But here are some notes from a Monster Hunter Enthusiast:
Alot of the monsters found in Skull Island has a monster hunter monster equivalent.
No poisons or hallucinogens would last very long as their body would burn through it very fast
monster hunter has some GREAT monsters.
its got some HUGE ones like Zorah magdaros, Dalamadur or Safi Jiiva,
If you want some smaller more powerful ones tbh Fatalis or most other elder dragons would be fun to see you work out.
Oh, the pickle wouldn't just survive, the pickle would thrive, a very hungry pickle in an all-you-can-eat buffet
I would love to see a video like this looking into the Dalamadur.
Bro I feel like the spirit Tigers ability literally just digs its own grave you're taking an already insanely aggressive and unpredictable creature and adding a hallucinogenic substance to it there's literally no telling what that Beast would do
Awesome new outro tune ✔️
Monster hunter + monsterverse + ultraman and Godzilla music = perfect
The truest threat of a Deviljho is that it constantly eats. It's an extinction event not just from its sheer power but by the fact that it will eat whatever it can kill. From small creatures and up. It'll destroy the ecosystem and while it can be driven off by something more powerful than it, the damage will be done and said creature will have to either do some very dangerous hunts to feed itself, possibly injuring itself, or starve because all the other prey options, even other predators it could eat, are dead and gone. Either way, that makes that once victor now new prey for the Deviljho who definitely will come back if it wasn't killed.
Never played Monster Hunter but when I heard of this video, I was like "what is a Deviljho?"
Nice vid man can you do a King titan vs the monsterverse
dadandan op music in the background is beautiful
"What is this new prison, is it me trapped or it it you."
