The information surrounding the Glacors on Gielinor may or may not be correct. The accounts seem to differ entirely. Its possible the stone of jas's leaked energy created an aggressive group of Glacors which is mentioned in the video. but not the Glacors themselves. The Glacor's according to online research arrived on Gielinor in the sixth age when wen opened a portal to Leng. However, Glacor's existed before this on Gielinor. Sadly, information seems to conflict fairly often so I often resort to the source of the topic as opposed to the branch it creates (In this case, the stone of jas information, instead of the Glacor information). Regardless I hope you enjoyed this video and I appreciate your support as always!
there are tiers of glacor, a type of ice spirit actually the core is the being the rest is like a suit of empowering armour, that form from the stone of jas on ice elementals, the now native glacor to gilinor are the second weakest varitity the weakest being the glacyte born from a glacor and came gilinor glacor first to be during the events with the ritual of mahjart, then there is the stronger arch-glacor due to longer with the stone and naturally start to grow in power and can naturally produce the glacor, should an arch-glacor grow strong enough it becomes an ul-glacor that can freeze entire planets and empower the glacor to arch-glacor with out the stone of jas, wen brought an arch-glacor from an ul-glacor frozen planet to gilinor during the elder god war where it takes a new god (azandra) and a varied team of magic users (or a certain adverturer (hard mode arch glacor)) to contain it before older gods managed to send it away. due to the lingering effect of jas and kerapc with the needle we can still fight the arch-glacor in that small war. based of what is known the stone of jas empowered the natural ice spirits with ice aspect energy of the shadow realm where erebus is and both necromancy and ancient magics draw their powers, in theory there could be unknown smoke, blood, bone, spirit and "poison" or miasma elementals of similar power levels to the glacors, with the shadow being the shadow leviathans, that so far are native to the shadow realm ( a "small one" attacked jas and kerapac and was the size of jas), this makes the glacor also an enemy of the elder gods due to the anti-mater like quality and corupption of the shadow realm, somthing only natives of the shadow realm are unaffected by , or those touched by the shadow realm are resistant to (the children of the corrupted elder god mah), so far only the legion of players (that one adventurer) are seemingly immune. As to the stone of jas leaking it created the several rune essence ore deposits, the Daeyalt ore, the liquid know as the tears of guthix, and caused a fourth area where the minigame the fist of guthix takes place, and might also be resposible for the sacred clay, there is a lasting aura of energy focused over the wilderness centered of the cave now know as the glacor cave where gilinors native glacor are contained.
Dammm nice video Charlie 😊, love the lore about gods my all fav type of content about RuneScape. Would be nice to take a screenshot on RuneScape if we meet in game !
Maybe the Devourer will have ownership of The Template, or perhaps she is looking for it as it holds up the walls of the Underworld set by either Guthix or Tumeken. Maybe Scarabas has knowledge of its location & is hiding away (as per his nature) to maintain this secret. Maybe we will be forced to locate The Hammer & have to choose to destroy her with it or choose to destroy “something else” with it
So great video but partway through I notice an absolutely massive error, the Glacors. The SoJ did not create Glacors, Glacors as a species predate this universe entirely. They come from another universe, somewhere in Erebus, and they attacked worlds like Leng back when our universe was in a more primordial era and Leng was a bustling industrious fire planet. The Glacors, beings of ancient ice, struck Leng as comets and shaped the ice into bodies. They began to freeze everything spreading like a disease, they self replicated until Leng was a still silent icy wasteland and any evidence of life and civilization on Leng was buried under sheets of ice forgotten. Zaros visited Leng once to slay an arch-glacor for its ancient ice power. Due to their nature they are tremendously difficult to bind to service according to Zamorak who has tried to harness them in the past. With Lucien juiced up he was able to summon Glacors to reinforce his icy army. However the slayer master Kuradal was able to hold the majority back and after the fight the remaining few lingered in a cave largely harmless. It was due to their erebal origins as beings of ancient ice that Wen would use them in the eldergod wars as they wouldn’t be stopped by the ancient elemental/shadow anima-lite barrier we created around the elder eggs to block them. Though Wen did wonder if this was the correct move, to let an erebal elemental being so close to her eggs and reportedly turned away to avoid looking at the destruction and instead of approach or direct them she simply opened a portal to Leng and let them run free.
@@Hirokey123 wow! That must have been conflicted information found. Sadly this happens. Does the stone of Jas have any cause for the glacors arriving on gielinor? The information is misleading on the internet as the glacors arriving on gielinor is mentioned in the sixth age for the elder god wars. But they existed before that on gielinor. I really appreciate you pointing this out Hirokey! I've added a pinned comment to help aid in anybody receiving misinformation.
It’s unknown if he could do it before the SoJ, but in the grand scheme of things no one is left alive who could really confirm or deny it he had that power before hand…at least no one is left who’d care to talk about him anyway lol. Like the only real bit that matters is Lucien summoned them from Leng. You could spin it into something like “armed with he immense power he a summoned army of Glacors during the 18th Mahjarrat ritual which were held back by the slayer master Kuradal” or something along those lines. Leave it vague enough that if they do somehow reveal he has the power pre-SoJ then you aren’t wrong or anything.
Did not click here to have the thought of a god dying because of a drinking contest with Marimbo! Should've been Zamorak dying in the contest! The best part about The Siphon was I got the satisfaction of stabbing Sliske with it.
