I simply cannot do that fight with him at a higher difficulty than normal, which imo is not worth uploading twice. He can't take a hit even with god tier equips and his move-pool costs is too damn high, so I waste turns giving him Moonlight Carrots, which throws off my timing.
I just can't be bothered trying to work with this fool anymore, so I'll gracefully take my L and place it upon Akechi's forehead!

How much do you think royal will change persona 5 ?
Will you do a playthrough of Persona 5 The Royal when it comes out? Also, I heard about a way to get I believe 9999 money if your luck is high enough, is this true? Maybe do a video on that alongside maybe some other tricks like the Reaper easy kill trick if you haven't already.
Finally the proof we needed that the only reason he seems useful is because the only dungeon he's in is rigged so you'll use him Kappa

I just realized, Joker and Pancake even stand in stances opposite to eachother.
(Akechi uses is left hand, and stands more elegantly than Joker who, in comparison, uses his right hand and has a bit of a “thuggish” stance to him.)
I swear this has to be intentional.
Ohh we probably should’ve known. In the old days of the Bible or AHEM “violent traditional” nun ways, the left hand is seen as the hand of sin or... the unclean hand. Combine that with the fact most people are right handed, easy minority group.
Their stands are even opposites akechi is weak to curse and strong to holy while arsene is strong to curse and weak to holy

I think an accurate summary of my entire (unfinished) gameplay of Persona 5 was not having enough SP all the time
I’m a rlly bad planner
If it ever helps (as I have no clue how far in you are) there is a Confidant that helps with Sp problem. Sojirio when you get his confidant up you can make coffee (gives 30 Sp to one party member) or Curry (20 sp to the whole party yet you can't make it as often). When even further into his Confidant the coffee can give 100 sp to one party member (from what I remember) and I have yet to get the curry upgrade so I can't tell you it's effects but you can also make curry for friends that are hanging out with you which increases their bond and gives curry.
Estrada 3 social links can help you with that, as Crystal Jewel said, Sojiros link can help, and as slodkalil said, sp adhesives will help as well (get them from Takemi’s link to unlock them from her store, but wait till rank 10 for a 50% discount) the final Link that will help with that comes in the late game so i will just refer to it as the arcana its from: The Empress (admittedly all you need is rank 1 but its still REALLY good)

Estrada honestly the biggest tip for SP saving is: buy the drinks from the vending machine near the public bath, The arcade in the first area (where iwais shop is) and the courtyard of school. Later on also go to the Akihabara vending machines as well. They dont do much, but if you stock up on tons that can save you a day. Also dont spam moves for weakness. If you feel like you can win without exploiting weaknesses, do it. AoA’s are great, but physical skills really save your SP. (provided you have healing items to use and not waste SP)

This is the greatest duo in the Persona franchise. I would take these two over any other duo in Persona, maybe even over any 4 man squad. And the trip with Sumire in there, oh lord have mercy!

I feel like the reason Akechi isn't very good in these fights is because you're not really supposed to have him at end of game levels, like 80-100, and so he stops learning skills and doesn't develop properly. While your at the "intended" level though, he's honestly pretty broken.

I like how you leveled your Arsene. For my "Arsene Only NG+" I ran an Arsene with the following skills -
Concentrate Null Bless
Eigaon Null Ice
Maeigaon Curse Boost
Megaton Raid Curse Amp
I focused on leveling up Strength, Magic and Agility via executions in my previous save and carried it over. High damage output combined with a high chance to dodge resulted in enemies and bosses posing very little threat. The other Phantom Thieves filled the offensive and support gaps I couldn't. It was definitely a fun run.
