EvaTone did flexi discs,I think. I may have a two song flexi of some heavy metal band that never got a big break. Flexi discs are starting to make a small comeback in some music sub genres like punk, indie, deathmetal .
@@subsanity667 I'm sure they did, but I never did any. I cut around 130 12" lacquers during my time there, maybe a CD or two, and a few cassettes. It was frustrating because we'd get pretty crappy mixes, and all I could do was EQ them a bit. They had some pretty neat gear, though... two big Scully lathes, each with a rack full of vintage Pultecs and LA2as.
hi there! nice work, but one of the channels of the mix has been inverted. I've seen it in adobe audition, and you should reverse that in order to listen to it properly. Jah provide
Sadly after about 1983 Jamaican Roots reggae was as dead as a doornail......with all that boomboom butty dancehall crap going on........Mad Professor digital dead dub. Even the once ultimate master Lee Perry got in the act from his comfy base in Switzerland..... Tankfully we still could rely on rereleases of 70's classic reggae.....seen mon ?
