- As NASA’s focus increases on human deep space exploration, what is to be the fate of the aging International Space Station, and what, if anything, comes after it?
At the end of 2021, the Biden administration announced the extension of the International Space Station program to 2030 as NASA continues to work with commercial partners to create private follow-ups to the decades-old outpost.

Great episode! Thank you!
Thanks for the great episode.
Please make video on India's first human spaceflight (GAGANYAAN) Please
It's on my list. :) It's just a matter of gathering enough information and finding the right time...probably closer to when the first uncrewed orbital test flight is scheduled.
So... if the Earth becomes a unahabitable place to live on, and Humans aren't still capable to colonized Mars, will the remaining mankind live in space until the end?
In that scenario, probably not. Those living on space stations wouldn't last long because they'll still likely require resupply from Earth, unless those space stations are 100% self-sufficient with 99.99% reliability in the subsystems.
@@OrbitalVelocity I mean, we can survive aslong as we can on the Space Station, or ran out of logistic and, water and food is essential.
plus living in a Space Station is quite danger, with so many risk so maybe it would Short-Term survivability.
@@OrbitalVelocity Aquaponic maybe a solutions, grow plants in a space station that would extend the survivability.
