Not a word about the perpetuation of low wages in certain activities (agriculture, construction, hotel industry, etc.) with the import of new "slaves". Doesn't the "Law of Supply and Demand" apply here? If there is no demand for low-wage jobs, the right thing to do, in my opinion, is to increase wages. Instead, what we have been seeing is the "importation" of people, with few cultural and religious affinities with Europeans, who accept the perpetuation of low wages. Mathematically speaking, it is impossible for Europe to imagine that it can welcome with open arms all immigrants who wish to improve their living conditions. The boats have a capacity of passengers, they cannot accommodate all those who want to board.
