@@Lisa-mzBD1 My comment was about the dancing not the placement, and the dancing is boring. Their dance material sucks no matter how much Nino yells and Andra smiles
@@ficklefialka309 while I agree it needs more "boldness", calling it boring is a stretch, I myself enjoyed it very much.
@Shihua Bai sure, but in my opinion, their dancing is boring. They have substandard content that aspires to little more than safety. We’ve seen all of this before a gazillion times. In fact, if you put them side by side with the couple in pink in a cha-cha, you’ll see that they both have an identical opening. Even their “authentic” steps which, I presume, are there to infuse their routine with some originality are so trite it’s almost embarrassing. Andra and Nino’s content seriously lags behind their dance skills, a gap they don’t even try to overcome, which tells me that they have a limited range, and that’s boring because then we are fated to watch the same stuff on repeat, just like we are here.

The dancing was crisp and rhythmic. Clear foot placement and action through the body. Expression at times strange…this seems to be a issue for most dancers.. scowling, jaw popping, puckering…folks watch yourselves on video and correct this issue. Expression begins behind the eyes..watch actors and how natural they are
Yes to crisp and rhythmic dancing, clear foot placement, timing, and body action. I really do admire those aspects of their dancing, and I think Andra is a fabulous dancer who could have been absolutely stunning with another partner though I don’t really know who (Mauricio was one such partner, and they were truly fab together). despite all his great qualities and good looks, Nino desperately lacks the charisma, playfulness, and relaxed confidence that distinguishes a top-tier dancer from just a great technician. I always feel like he’s still playing the part of a top Latin dancer rather than fully embody it.
