蘇綠筠一開始其實就是因為面相看起來好生養所以才被四大爺配給了渣龍，對於外表並沒太大著墨，就歷史上純惠皇貴妃的畫像來看，她的長相不是絕色美人，但也溫婉端莊，挑不出什麼錯來，所以劇組給她配的服飾顏色也都是溫和的綠色、芽黃色，後期因為年紀漸長所以多了一些穩重的深藍色或是豬肝紅色，儘管不得寵但也能看出是受人敬重而且兒女雙全的資深嬪妃，個人認為最好看的服裝就是最後期那套鴿藍色花鳥紋氅衣。
