Recently, Ryanair began Boeing 737 MAX 8 operations from London Luton to Vilnius. We even had some pretty insane storms over in Lithuania. Whenever you get the chance, you should visit Vilnius. It’s an amazing city.
I've not flown for 35+ years but love to watch airplane videos. I'm hoping to get back up in the air one day if only to fly from Gatwick to Glasgow. Thank you for taking us with you on your flight, lovely to see the scenery up above
I got lucky and got EI-IHN coming back from Màlaga in October rather than the booked 737-800 which they decided to send to Cork instead of the Max we got. Even if their was slightly less legroom I definitely preferred the max, especially with the added bonus of the Boeing sky interior unlike the 737 we got out there.
Was in Bratislava last year. Wonderful city with very friendly people. Also had my first chance to fly Ryanair(air Malta) from Vienna to Stockholm during same trip. They were great! Awesome Maltese crew. Will be getting another opportunity to fly Ryanair in a few weeks from Dublin to Edinburg.
Welcome back Sir .. absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming edition and the views look super awesome super amazing .. great job Sir and as always beautiful sharing Trip report, looking forward to the next coming Saturday video, have a wonderful blessing weekend to you Sir and take care .. Merci beaucoup Monsieur ..
Im flying on a 737 max with Ryanair soon, cant say I'm looking forward to it, given all the bad press about the plane and Boeing, plus in not a fan of budget airlines, I dont feel safe flying with them, but this video raised my spirits a little, thanks
Ryanair makes more than 3,000 flights per day, which means they make in 2-3 days more flights than many airlines in all the month. Their safety record is just incredible, among the best in the world by statistics. The B737MAX has been (and it is still) under constant review by all authorities. I would say it's among the safest planes in the world to fly in nowadays. Wish you a great trip!
I flew with Ryanair, but I flew only with B737-800. First I flew OTP-ATH and then, last year OTP-PSA. I also stayed on seat 07F. I hope you enjoyed the flight with Ryanair):
Beautiful Ryanair 737 MAX. 😮 Know the clouds ☁️ are dangerous but they are so breathtaking! 😊 As was green UK. Was wondering why the center cap inside the engine has a white stripe like an optical illusion when it spins?🤔Thanks for another top notch trip 🙋🏼♀️👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks so much!! Is not an ilusion, it is attached to the shaft, so yeah, it rotates. It is part of the engine aerodynamic. The shape it has is for giving a visual clue tp the ground staff about the engine status (ON or OFF).
To answer your question, it is recommended landing lights be used under 10,000 feet and within 10 miles of an airport regardless of the time of day or visibility.
Love manchester is my home airport always see planes go overhead on approach onto 23r , next time you should definitly do a Jet2 A330 flight from the better terminal which is obviosly T2 , great video as always pal!
I'm travelling just 40 miles on a train this weekend which is an hour and half each way, two changes and still more expensive than a return flight from Manchester to Dublin with Ryanair. Chances are at least one of those trains will be delayed if not cancelled altogether. When we have poor weather and storms in UK, the two airlines still criss crossing the skies as normal are EasyJet and Ryanair. Ryanair will get you safely where you want to go in an apocalypse 😂
Hi. Great video! Do you have a special app on your smartphone where you can see your current location on the plane? If so, what is the name of the application? Kind regards.
another great video. so glad a recent review of ryanair. My GF and i are slated to fly Ryanair for the 1st time in Feb. i am really looking forward to it. Being i am 6ft 6 i went ahead and bought seat 1 juts to be on the safe side. for a nervous flier i really liked that ryanair pilot giving a detailed report on what to expect turbulence wise. being as his will be our 1st time we also bought every type of bag that offered just to make sure we got the correct one. better to pay for it and not need it then need it and have to pay for it at the airport. heard horror stories about having to pay for stuff at the airport with ryanair. we are going US to Tenerife like we do every year. normally we go thru Madrid but this year (2024) we are taking a little longer route so i can go thru London City Airport and check that off my avgeek to do list. plus my GF really does not lake Barajas. Not sure why. i really like it, especially Terminal 1 and its old school, yesteryear vibe it has. when building the trip the only way to get from LCY to Tenerife was to go thru Barcelona. Leaving my only options as Ryanair and Vueling. Being as i grew up in the 80s and my father worked for Ozark Airlines where they almost always boarded by the airplanes built in airstairs outside of St. Louis in the 80s. the choice was realy easy. Book with Ryanair because of their built in airstairs. (really wanted to go thru Mallorca and hook up with Binter and the E195 E2 but i could not make the flight times work).
Autenticos bichos!
Enjoyable video as always, thanks. It’s a real shame that so many British airports are designed for functionality, but lack any architectural flair and character. Manchester is a prime example of that. As for Ryanair, not my favourite airline, but if one just accepts it as a ‘bus service’ between A & B then it fulfils that purpose admirably and, in my experience, flights seem to be routinely delayed less than other airlines. Just wish they’d treat their staff and passengers with a little less contempt.
Thanks so much! Exactly, they offer ypu a very affordable way to fly from A to B, safely and on time. And that's it. The problem is the people that expect something a part from that...
@onboard hd I flew a small storm cloud like the one you saw in Germany I was going to Germany and the turbulence was really bad and it was really scary but we landed thankfully.
@@OnBoardHD then why was the turbulence so bad when it went through the cloud it was definitely not normal turbulence and I thought that too that they don’t go through a storm cloud but since we were landing I thought they would go into it
One plus thing about Manchester airport it is one of the few airports in the U.K. that have a dedicated viewing area.
