      Of course we have no qualms or discrimination. Our kids are used to kids of all ethnics and colors, there is no difference, they mostly do not even notice that some people look different and that is great.

      @Blessed-s4b Год назад +1

      Kids are innocent. Racism/discrimination is taught, not something one is born with. With that being said, why would they have any qualm about it especially when they are the one willingly went to india and other countries to live and explore? Don't you think someone who is racist wouldn't even go to another country that has people of different color?

    Mayiladuthurai is of significant antiquity, its oldest extant temples dating to the time of the Medieval Cholas. The region, however, is known to have been inhabited since the 3rd millennium BC. Sherds of megalithic black and red ware have been found at Akkur, 14 km (8.7 mi) to the east of Mayiladuthurai.[
    Mayil = Peacock.. Adu = dancing.. thurai = port?
    Tanjavur was the capital of Cholas.. The one and only Empire who invaded outside Indian Subcontinent, south east Asia (Thailand, Malaysia etc) Srilanka.

    I can imagine your condition.
    But the way you vlog and handles the conditions despite being exhausted and fatiguenes.
    You are doing great Sir.
    Great Love and support and esspecially to your cute kids.😊
    One suggestion: Please try to travel in premium trains like Vande Bharat Express or in Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi express.

I and my husband want to see your channel grow and always wonder why it's not racing. I just want to give a small suggestion when you visit the cities plz try to use some music or do a voice over whenever possible coz the background noise is so loud that sometimes it's irritating to the ears, even when you have such good content! I feel that's the reason why it's not growing the way it should! Best wishes to you and lots of love to the family 💝 hope to bump into you guys someday! 😊

    Tamil is a complex language because it retains some of the 1st human migration into India from Africa, that ultimately ended into humans going to Australia.

    This is just in case you're still not sure how you got the entire "bench" to yourself.
    In all sleeper classes of IR, from 6 am to 9 pm, the lower berths turn into a seat (or bench, if you prefer) meant for sitting, to be shared between the passenger on the lower berth (LB), and the ones of the middle berth (MB, which is foldable, so when not in use as a berth and is folded, it serves as a backrest while sitting on the LB) and upper berth (UB) above it. In your case, they would have been the passengers on berth numbers 4, 5 and 6. Of course, there is flexibility, and as long as the passengers mutually agree, one or more of the three can choose to lie down on their respective berths during other times in the day, with the others adjusting if needed.
    In your case, your copassengers are likely to have let you occupy the entire LB during the day (despite you having only 2 of the 3 berths) to allow your family to be seated together in a decent amount of space (by Indian standards anyway), and the other person who would have been allotted one of those 3 berths would have moved to the opposite side, or elsewhere nearby. If the journey were overnight, you might have had to sleep the night in your respective berths, or requested someone for a mutual swap.

    • @yvesthesleeve
      @yvesthesleeve  Год назад

      Yes sure, I was still surprised how many seats were empty in the end as people were even fighting at the railway station...

    • @5upraj
      @5upraj Год назад +1

      @@yvesthesleeve that clamour at the railway station was for people looking for unreserved tickets, with which they are ideally supposed to travel in the unreserved or "General" coaches, like the class of travel you used to get into Mumbai on your previous trip. General coaches, especially on express trains (like this one) are usually more crowded, due to them being less in number as compared to reserved coaches.
      They might have been looking for unreserved tickets due to any of the following reasons:-
      1. Unreserved tickets cost less than sleeper class tickets (and might be worth the amount saved, especially for short distances)
      2. The train seemed full till Mayiladuthurai, so sleeper tickets would have been hard to get (or remained unconfirmed) for passengers boarding anywhere prior to that station
      3. They could have made last minute plans to travel (which is common for short distances) and would not have been able to try for reserved berths in sleeper class, which should ideally be booked at least four hours before the scheduled departure time (sometimes more, depending on the station)

    18:13 he said "junction" ... in indian railway speak it means the station serves another branch of service ... so people come here to expressly board another connecting train ... up to a limit that train departure is delayed i guess so that people get to board if another train is delayed ... i say "i guess" because i do not know for sure ... usually schedules are designed so that you can transfer to new platform in comfort and then wait for some time for connecting train to arrive ... if you miss and it was reserved then you lose reservation and wait until next day for connecting train or elect to cancel missed leg part of ticket and get partial refund and take another transport

    Brother,
    Most of the people are going to "Velankanni Church" in that group ...
    That's why they finished the train journey at "Myladumthurai".
    "Velankanni" the most famous Shrine of Mother Mary in South India, Commonly known as "Mother of Health".
    Don't forget to visit there next time.
    With love from India,
    Jiji Antony Kottiath

    22:46 😂😂😂the bearth is not for ghost. Actually AC compartments have attendants to take care of pillows, blankets for passengers. The bearth is for them.

      @@yvesthesleeve yeah try it. Original train experience we will get in Sleeper class but in AC compartment, travel will be very peaceful.
      I suggest you to try AC 3 tier compartment / Garibrath trains for economical travel in AC train.

    You are incredibly extraordinary. I would never go or take my kids in townbuses and unreserved trains or eat in any small hotels. I feel sick immediately and that too water which ruins my entire trip to India if I am not careful.

    You are in Chola country, which is basically agriculture oriented. Mostly rice fields. You should have visited the Mangrove forest which is not far away from Chidambaram. :)

    Those people were Christians, travelling all the way down from Andhra Pradesh to go to the famous shrine at Velankanni. That station, Mayiladuthurai, was the closest to bus to Velankanni. You, of course, went on by way of Kumbakonam to Trichy. Or, properly speaking, Tiruchirapalli, the town with the rock temple.
