Loving the pocket of vines deck Silvia. 🤩 Barbara vintage is the same size as tint. However, I find that it is a better printing. Images coloration looks better in the vintage.
Oh, the Pocket of Vines is great 🥰 I’ll keep an eye out for the vintage Barbara Walker regardless of the size, I remember seeing it in your instagram posts and it looks amazing 🥰
The Star Power Tarot has rapidly become my absolute favorite deck in my collection due to all of the positives you mentioned about it. Love this sassy deck so much!! It was the first one I thought of when I saw the original tag, even before ol Barb.
It’s such a “freedom to be yourself “ kind of deck, isn’t it! I’ve always been drawn to look into the order decks by the same creator but somehow I just keep this one because it’s the first one I got and I’m really close to it now 🥰
Oh gosh now I can’t unsee it 🤣🤣🤣 It’s such a cool deck, jokes aside! I love using it for readings when I travel, it gets all sorts of odd reactions from people!

Hi Silvia. I saw a video recently, the person had acquired an original Barbara Walker deck. There were wide borders around it, with writing in all 4 corners similar to the old Lo Scarabeo decks. Interestingly, the card images were the same size or maybe even slightly smaller than the one in the tin. The narrator said if she had known that, she would have just got the one in the tin and saved her money. Just FYI.
Thanks Vada, I recall someone saying exactly the same thing! The artwork is spectacular but it’s so intense in some cards that perhaps it’s a good thing that they stick to publishing the mini size 😉😂
Hiya Silvia, fun VR! I think I might need the Star Power deck🫣, looks very “sassy” & fun! I have a 1st ed Crow Tarot & new old stock book they’d put out when it was published but it’s a demo deck so it has little holes in the corners as they’d come on a chain so we could hang them (when I had the shop). Never connected with it myself, wasn’t a big seller, same as the Barbara Walker which we had a very different version of. Do people buy demo decks? I have so many 1st eds, OOP decks but no clue what to do! I know I have the Gothic Tarot (can’t find it, swear I just had it the other day, we have faerie-festation, they hide things then I’ll find them elsewhere😂) & another “fortune telling” deck from the same publisher, lovely artwork! TFS! With💚, Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🤘🦋🏍
Ciao Jet 🥰 I think there’s definitely a market for demo decks especially when they’re OOP decks! It probably depends on the conditions of the deck, but as you can see I bought the Pocket of Vines with stains and damage to the box and I’m still pretty happy about it 🥰 There are a few facebook groups where you can get some expression of interest on those decks. Just put some feelers out and I’m sure you’ll find them a new home! Personally I have nothing against a demo deck because I always purify my decks when I get them anyway 🤷♀️🥰
I really wanted to like the Lorenzi but I just couldn't connect. It kind of feels like the art was just placed into a category. Like it wasn't drawn specifically for tarot. I dunno. Maybe I'll give it another chance before I move it along.
I understand what you mean, it lacks some direct references to the traditional symbols. I’m not too bothered by that because I have a few other decks with the same type of setup and the artwork is really great! Also I have to say that it reads really well for me 🥰
