Hi I just got a set of these HD Ear Pad Replacments, the transfer was a little bit of work. As in your video I started at the top and worked my way down each side until I got to the bottom of the pads. It looked and felt like it was fitted until I slightly peeled back the ear pads. I had to use the tip of a blade screw driver to snap it fully home in a few spots. I also added a new 1.2m cord with 3.5mm angled fitting for my phone instead of that giant adapter & cord. I feel like I have a brand new $295 set of awesome headphones, and so comfortable I'm constantly falling asleep wearing them.

i swapped back to my old, scuffed and torn pads. there is definitely a difference in sound due to the new pads changing the position of the headphone speakers. the replacement ones are much thicker and therefore the speakers are noticeably further away from my ears. if youre sensitive to the differences like i am, i would not recommend getting replacement pads unless they are much closer to the original ones. ive been using these headphones (sennheiser pc37x) for years and i am too used to the audio quality to be able to tolerate any changes to audio. im going to have to buy a whole new replacement headset.
