- Isabela Island is the largest island of the Galápagos with an area of 4,640 square kilometres and length of 100 kilometres almost four times larger than Santa Cruz, the second largest of the archipelago. It was named after Queen Isabella of Spain. It was originally named Albemarle after the Duke of Albemarle. The island strides the equator.

Book a tour up the second largest Volcan crater in the world (Sierra Negra)
Snorkel with sea-lions at Concha La Perla
Book a Kajak tour to paddle through the harbour area and see the penguins.
Take a night-swim at the harbour to see plankton glow in the dark.

Yes. That’s right. In 2017 Isabela Island was still very tranquil and not touristy at all. Since it’s so expensive I guess it stays like this for a while.

Ocean Chan Freediving thanks for your appreciation. You can book the cruises on all of the 3 main islands. They have north and south cruises 🚢 separated and ranges from 4-10 days. I am sure they have cruises around isabela island. Unfortunately is isn’t do one but they say it’s really worth it 👍🏻

No por que Galápagos es una reserve natural conocida mundialmente los edificios dañaria su entorno natural
Deberían invertir pero no en edificios, sino en hacer una regeneración, cambiarle la cara a las islas como hizo Nebot con el cerro Santa Ana.

@@franklinrivera7320 Así es, estoy de acuerdo contigo, pero considero que el gobierno ecuatoriano debería hacer una regeneración, creo que se podrían hacer mejoras sin necesidad de reconstruir edificios.
