great work. as a new dog owner I will try to apply this to our puppy. btw..does he always go back to his kennel after training? Can a dog just go back to their pen or living room to relax?

All digs , coyotes, wolves have dens, it's their genetics. The kennel works in many ways to make fast progress. It's a place for the dog to process and progress their last experience with you and anticipate the next. I explain it like a line up for a roller coaster.
