    Hi, I would appreciate it if you could answer my question, I am not an EU citizen but I hold a German permanent residence permit and studied in the Czech Republic as an exchange student that’s why I have an interest in this position with Wings Pattern, based in PRG.
    Have you seen any colleagues who are not EU citizens and hold a European permanent residence permit?
    And do I need an address in PRG? Because of taxes and social security and so on
    Thank you in advance

      Hi there,
      Im afraid I will have to let you know that you have to hold an EU passport in order to be considered. It is not written like that in the advert, but they would not let you through the screening.
      Of course you can always try and if you get invited to the assessment, please let me know and I can share it with others 😉

    Hello! I will have my interview in Prague soon and I was asked for the ZUP document. My criminal record in English is needed for it, but at the moment I only have it in Spanish as that's where I'm from. Is it necesssary to translate it before the interview day or can it be sent after I pass the assesment date? Thank you in advance!

    Hi, thanks for this video!
    Did you actually start flying wings pattern?
    If yes, can you please share how are the flights like - what are average flying hours, are there 4 legs, are there LO?
    How does the assessment look like?
    I’m also former FA, how is the training like? Is it tough, cause I forgot everything😂
    What is the average salary like? If I understand, it is neto, menaing they pay all the taxes, correct?
    Also, please, do you know can I live in Prague? I’m from non EU country

      Of course you can always try and if you get invited to the assessment, please let me know and I can share it with others 😉
      I started flying Wings Pattern. On those 20 days we usually do about 60 flying hours. We have 4 leg days. In 99% your layover is your assigned base for that rotation (mainly DUS or HAJ).
      Regarding the assessment there is another video in my channel 😉
      The salary that you see on the website is gross, the taxes are automatically deducted by the company, but i feel like their calculation is averaged with less flying over winter, so expect slightly more.
      You can live anywhere as where you live on your days off is up to you!
      Hope this helps.

      They invited me for the assessment, not sure if I’ll be able to make it though, cause it’s in a few days. Can you please link me your assessment video? :)
      So basically, the salary mentioned on the website is after the taxes? So I don’t need to pay anything, correct?
      I’d like to live in Prague as it will be the base and I would love to leave my country, but I’m not sure if I have the right to live there as a non EU resident

    • @PetieMumbles
      @PetieMumbles  Месяц назад +1

      Hello! The salary is in CZK. Most crew let company send the salary to a Revolut account in CZK and then they exchange the CZK to EUR and send it to their EUR account or keep using Revolut. The rule for starting and ending the duty is, that the company will arrange for a flight to PRG, however sometimes the company can grant your request and change it to a different location especially if it is cost neutral to them.

    Thank you very much for the video ^^. It was very informative and it answered some of my questions. But one still remains. Taxes. How is it with them? Do I have to pay them or does the employer pay them for me? I’m very confused in this matter as I have heard both so i dont know which one applies here. Answer would be really appreciated ^^.

    • @PetieMumbles
      @PetieMumbles  2 месяца назад +1

      So the taxes are automatically deducted by the employer, but as a tax payer you’ll have to do the tax declaration every year. However the employer can do it on your behalf. You’ll just have to sign the declaration for them.

      @@PetieMumbles I did not expect such a quick reply 😳. Thank you very much ^^. Also any chance you might have answer how it will be with taxes when I will be employed in Czech Republic, have Czech contract but I will be living in Slovakia? Cos I’m Slovak nationality and I live in Slovakia. If I’ll manage to pass all the steps and get employed I would travel to Prague for the start of my every 20 days duty.

      @PetieMumbles  2 месяца назад +1

      @@Claud98 no worries i got email notification. To be honest I’m not 100% sure, but i think you should do a tax declaration in Slovakia as well, in case you have any tax liabilities there as well (income from properties,etc.) if not then technically you wont be a resident there as you will spend majority of the year less than 183 days out. Of course not sure what the legislation is in Slovakia. Once employed with EW, you should apply for A1 and S1 certificate so you can visit doctors in Slovakia.

      Hi @rebecaconstantinescu8025 thank you for the topic, i certanly can do video about that. Regarding the 20 days on. The program is very new even for the airline, they were not able to tell us much, to my knowledge our batch of crew on this Wing Pattern will be the testing one, where they will figure out the details. We were told in those 20 days we will be mainly based out of Germany, might be from different bases(eg. week in Berlin, 2weeks in Düsseldorf) layovers might be involved as well, though its a low-cost airline so do not think they have many.
