Oh my goodness someone knew I needed to see your video this morning. You just popped right in my feed 😂. All of your shares are amazing and your instructions wonderful. The last one, snowman chocolate holder, I can modify a bit to hold a container of tic tacs. My 7-yr-old granddaughter just the other day said I could get a pack for her for Christmas. She loves the wintergreen ones. I take her and my grandson to school three days a week and we always have a tic tac as we walk up to the school. Heartfelt memories being made. She loves to craft and I think the post it note clip board will be something her and I can do together. ❤️
This is my third time watching this video Dee. The products are just great. I have made dozens and dozens of these cute little post it notes. However, I found they sell better in my area if I include a small gel pen. I purchased the gel pens from amazon. Thank you.
You came up on my feed this morning and I’ve been looking for small gifts to give the women’s group at my Synagogue. Your items are just stinking cute I can’t wait to make several of these. I’m so glad you came up on my feed this morning. Blessings to you and your family
These little gifts are just adorable. I just found your channel Dee (a year later). I believe that I will make the notepad for why spring craft fair and later fall and Christmas. Loved all of these ideas and am going to try them all.
A TIP ON MAKING A STRAIGHT BOW! when you make any shoe type bow As you start and if your holding your bow loop in your right hand instead of wrapping the the ribbon around the right side of loop stop and go the opposite way . The bow will set level for you and not twist up and down. I learned this tying my dress bows behind my back they would hang straight ones I tied in front of me would hang up and down. I was wrapping the opposite way behind my back.
Thanks for the tip! I normally tie upside down but sometimes on the videos I hurry myself. But I will try your approach to make cute bows. Appreciate it! :) Dee
My rule of thumb is mainly double my cost when priced as a 2-fer. So if the jr. legal pad cost me $1 and my paper crafting supplies $1 I would charge $5 wrapped in cello bag with tag and market as $5 each or 2 for $8!
This may sound strange but it works!! When making those cute little bows, my Mother taught me to tie the loops the opposite way so the bow will lie flat across instead of up and down!
Where did u buy the red ribbon and the Merriest Moments. Are they Stampin’ Up products? I really like the snowflakes. I am in Albuquerque NM and I am 87/years old. Something am a bit slow.
I need some help understanding something that I have observed other crafters do when making a particular item. You shared a package of beautiful symbols and saying. Then you stamped the information onto your product. How did you get the saying onto a stamp? For example, how did you transfer "Thinking of You . . ." from the package to the glass?
The stamps are removable from the packaging they arrive in. Think of peeling off a sticker of sorts then we place the stamp (sticker)image unto the acrylic (glass) block. :)
Then we use a wet cleaning pad that is called a shammy (lint free foam thing) to remove the ink then replace the stamp in the stamp case it arrived in.
Depending on what you pay for the sticky notes - I'm using Dollar Tree pads and would charge $4 or 2 for $7 (that's keeping the other parts cute and quick!) The 2 fer price is what you want to make per each.
I'm not sure of what is available outside the US but here's what I use! Links to the Amazon cello bags I use. 3" x 5" (open top) amzn.to/3tC0unI 6" x 9" (open top) amzn.to/4ayP3Oj 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" Adhesive strip closure - so I can fold down to seal. amzn.to/3NBvdbj
Depends on your costs :) I start with doubling my cost. So if you have $2 in cost, and it doesn't take long to make, see if $4 seems right. I do the self-gauge test. "Would I pay $4 for this?" if the answer is yes, go for it! Honestly it's trial and error. Hope that helps! Dee
Craft fair venues/states have their own requirements so that may be true. I personally have never been required but I am not selling home-made eateries. I think each venue/state may have their own requirements. (many of my friends do make and sell their own without a certificate. Again, a venue or state requirement?)
The doubleided note holder is a cute idea!
Thank you!

Love the double sided note pad idea! Thank you for all the gift ideas!!! Are the snowflakes still available through SU?
I'm glad you liked the idea! No, they retired but sometimes things appear on a clearance rack refresh!
How much would you charge for each of these items please?
My rule of thumb is mainly double my cost when priced as a 2-fer.

Hi Dee,
Wonderful ideas. What did you call the embellishment snowflakes, so cool. Are they from Stampin Up?
Thanks Sherri
Hi Sherri! Yes from last year. I still have a full pack if interested! Thanks for watching! Dee
Wonderful ideas!
Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you!

This video was made several years ago. I may have some of the ribbon and snowflakes left. If you wish to send me an email. Dee@createwithdee.com
Did you think about put a pen in with the pads
Great Idea!
I need some help understanding something that I have observed other crafters do when making a particular item. You shared a package of beautiful symbols and saying. Like the sticky notes 2 sided. What would you charge for them?
Depending on what you pay for the sticky notes - I'm using Dollar Tree pads and would charge $4 or 2 for $7 (that's keeping the other parts cute and quick!) The 2 fer price is what you want to make per each.
What kind of chocolate did you say they were? Thanks
I think Palmer brand. Walmart carries
What size are the cello bags you use please. Can I buy them on Amazon UK.?
I'm not sure of what is available outside the US but here's what I use! Links to the Amazon cello bags I use.
3" x 5" (open top) amzn.to/3tC0unI
6" x 9" (open top) amzn.to/4ayP3Oj
6-1/2" x 9-1/2" Adhesive strip closure - so I can fold down to seal. amzn.to/3NBvdbj
Can you share where you purchased the cello bags for the first project with the sticky notes?
Yes! I got them on Amazon. amzn.to/3V75Q2u This is an all purpose size I keep on hand. Thank you for watching! Take care and Happy Crafting! Dee
Can you share how much you sell each item for please? 😊
Dee
What glue are you using please.?
I use Multipurpose Glue from Stampin' UP!
www.stampinup.com/products/glue-liquid-multipurpose?demoid=2253254
What price do you have on each of these?
I tend to double my cost and not include "time". :) So if the notepad item total cost me $2 I would sell for $4 each or 2 for $7
What do you sell these items for at a craft fair?
I normally take my cost and double it. But each market is different and it depends on how easy it is to mass produce the item.
I was told I needed a food hygiene certificate to sell packaged Chocolate.
Craft fair venues/states have their own requirements so that may be true. I personally have never been required but I am not selling home-made eateries. I think each venue/state may have their own requirements. (many of my friends do make and sell their own without a certificate. Again, a venue or state requirement?)
Great projects but please think about slowing down a little
Thanks for the feedback
