You know it's funny that Mr Satan is so weak compared to everybody else but in our world he would actually super human
He managed to survive Cell swat away attack in which in a blink of an eye he flew into the crater beside the ring
@@robinwilliams6586 he also dodged attacks from kid buu which was at light speed
He was able to convince the whole world that he defeat cell and he convinced them all to give the energy to Goku

I used to hate hercule so much. He was so annoying. But in super he's easily one of the characters I get happy when I see them on the screen

he is definitly a bit more humble now.
RaginDXDemon he's actually one of the biggest support characters in all anime and has practicially saved the world (or at least halted it) by befriending buu.
He gave Goku money and all that sure, I get that but he still has those.....weird moments.
Fun fact.
The creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, has this fun little quirk where he likes to name his characters after things (e.g. Oolong - Tea), usually in the form of puns (e.g. Bulma or Buruma - Bloomers/Japanese girls gym shorts). This is also continued in patterns when naming characters who are related in some way: Piccolo, Tambourine, Cymbal, and Drum, Bardock (Burdock root), Gine (Negi/Onion), Raditz (Radish), and Kakarot (Carrot), Bibidi, Babidi, and Buu (from Cinderella), Beerus (Beer) and Whis (Whiskey) et cetera. Mr.Satan's name is derived from this pattern, his family's names being based on figures from the Bible; Mr.Satan (Satan), his late wife Miguel (Archangel), and his daughter Videl (Devil).
Perhaps, if you think about it in this way, as just another interesting tidbit to further immerse yourselves in the world of Dragon Ball, Mr.Satan's name won't bother you as much.

Oddly enough, Mr. Satan is the strongest human outside of the main cast. Unfortunately for him that's like being the strongest house cat in a lion's den.
The strongest human who doesn't use ki. That is until Videl surpasses him, but she learns to use ki. Hm. Can Yajirobe and Ox King use ki? If not they would be the actual strongest for non-ki users

In Abridged episode 48, Tien used the Shin Kikohou to bombard and stall Cell. This nearly kills Tien, and Cell says "If you want my opinion, Kikohou is a pretty poor choice of last words. But, to be fair, it's *far from the worst choice you made today." In response, on the ground and on death's door, Tien responds with "Kiko f**k yourself." So when he greets Cell with "Kiko howya doin'?"

Android 16 was pretty shocked when he found out that his bomb was removed from his body because Bulma didn't trust him because of what Dr Gero programmed him to do

Tien may not be able to stand up to any Saiyans but he did hold off Cell for a good amount of time, so that's something. I really liked his story arc in the original Dragon Ball.

I can't believe that Mr. Satan is as dense as he is, the dude was about to go up against the guy who could destroy the solar system.
but you have to give him credit he did help a lot and he does have some guts he helped because gohan wouldn't have went ssj2 if hercule didn't throw #16 with kid but he convinced everyone to help with the spirit bomb so technically Hercules is the savior he may not be that strong and yamcha can even beat him but still hercule was one of the most helpful characters in dragon ball z
I remember in one of the dbz openings gohan and videl.were riding around in Hercules car and the tags said "Mr. Satan" and "666" no bullshit

They wanted Broly to be cannon, so Akira turned him into Android 16. That one definitely went over heads.
I only just thought about it then, There were 3 world martial artist at that tournement. By end of the series 2 z warroirs are champions, Gohan as a 3rd champ, being the cell champ.
It's depressing looking at how much more detail was put into Z, then looking at how crappily animated Super is.
You're still on this? Super now has better animation and art style.
And much detail put in z? There were hundreds of art style errors like Krillin in the namek arc with his normal gi, or Goku in base form when he supposed to be in super saiyan, etc. Z has been remastered many times in order to look as it looks now.
Those are mistakes. Mistakes that still have detail in their animation. Super has also been remastered many times. They don't care about making Super look good until a movie comes out. That's that. Completely crappy animation, no matter how you slice it. Being a fanboy doesn't change the facts.
For me it's the character design that puts me off of super. Everything looks like it's a bloudy pokemon... And not even the good generation pokemon.

For a minute I was wondering why you guys hate the name Mr. Satan so much, but then I realized that you probably were used to him being called Hercule before ever hearing him called Mr. Satan. I was so used to the name Mr. Satan because I'd known him as that for years before the dub actually got to the point where he showed up (when I started watching, the dub hadn't gotten any further than Goku's arrival on Namek). So to me, when they started calling him Hercule, it just seemed really lame. But thinking about it, if I'd never known his name was Mr. Satan and had only heard him called Hercule, then found out his name was actually Mr. Satan, that would seem really damn weird, and I probably wouldn't like it either.
