Sure do miss you Myriam! I watch your videos over and over. Along with being instructional and inspirational, there's something comforting about them -- maybe it's your voice and laugh. Hope you come back soon.
The white on black plus x-ray look on the flowers create such a striking effect....I absolutely adore this exquisite piece, Myriam, but why do I still marvel at your talent!!?
Myriam, thank you for sharing the white alcohol ink flowers on the black substrate. My favorite flowers are tulips and coneheads. The Posca pens really add depth, variety and interest!! You have opened up a whole new world for using alcohol inks!! Thank you again‼️🤓
Love your freedom of ink usage.sometimes I think these who comment about not liking certain brands, don't like to work d differently. Each color has its own characteristic so each color needs to be worked differently. Your freedom is what I hope to achieve as I learn to work with inks. So many techniques, so little time. This was a fun tutorial..love your positive and upbeat attitude.
I just came across this video. I then went to your RUclips channel and noticed you haven't been on in a year or more. I miss you and hope you are well. Would love to see more from you. Love your alcohol tutorials and your trips and tricks.
This is so delicate and pretty. I love the white on black Myriam, it gives such a classy look to the painting. By keeping the stems and leaves open and thin lined, it did exactly what you said--the whole thing is open and airy . I just love it!!! 👍🏻👍🏻💖💖
I’m kind of excited to see Halloween images with the white on black. I can see some fun dancing ghosts! I love everything you create and will keep watching! Thank you!
What a beautiful painting! I'm not very good with free hand painting/drawing, but your technique looks possible for me! I will be giving this a try. Thanks for sharing your talent and continuing encouragement. Have a blessed day.
Beautiful, Myriam! It's stunning how vibrant that white looks on the black background. Can't wait to give this a go myself. Thanks for the video and have an awesome Sunday, Myriam!
First I want to tell you my daughter name is Myriam. So that is fun.I AM so exited about the flowers you made with white alcohol ink.The translusance gives the flowers so much demension.I would really love to see you make more flowers with this technique Maybe White rosés ?.Thank you for sharing your talent
These are wonderful, I ordered the new set of Marabu inks and a couple of single colors when you first did a video on them. I sure am hoping I got white, I keep thinking I did but I will not see them till I go to the States in January. You always inspire me, but then I have to wait, patience Lynette patience. I just went back and looked at the video again where you were introducing the new set and white is there yay, I am getting old I just couldn't remember.
Wow! Incredible painting! I thought at first you were just giving us a hodge podge assortment of flowers possible to draw. BUT THEN you pulled it all together and made a gorgeous piece of artwork. What a delightful surprise. But yet, true artists seem to be able to see way ahead of the finished piece before they start. Just love all of it!!! Thank you also for your kind commentary as you went along.
Just headed over to Joggles and bought black grafix, posca pen, and white alcohol ink (and rainbow, and amythest and.....). Cant wait to give this a try.
so beautiful. love all the flowers. love how it all came together to make a wonderful garden. thank you so much for doing some of the experimenting for us, to let us know what some of the differences in the inks can allow us to do. find the positive instead of stuck in one thing!
What a wonderful whimsical piece!! Thank you for introducing the Grafix papers, i will be getting some of the black. Didn't know i could use my Poscas on grafix...another Thank You. Finally, love that some of the links go to Joggles. My favorite site for good prices/good stock & a hometown feel!! Will use your link when I order my paper 😊
Myriam I really love the look of this piece! I need a few more things and I’m going to give it a try... I hope I can create something as lovely. TYFS as always I really enjoy you, and your videos 🥰 I’d like to see a dragonfly and butterfly done like this. Someone asked before but I didn’t see an answer... would other colors of Marabou ink have a transparent look too? btw I liked the addition of the gold too 😉
Lovely. While it doesn't seem to be your strength, can you imagine painting an actual x-ray, like a skeleton for Halloween? I would probably like to make Queen Anne's Lace/cow parsley which is one of my favorite flowers to embroider. I think a dandelion gone to seed would be great especially with some seeds floating in the air. I know many hate dandelions as weeds but they are one of my favorite flowers. I still remember seeing one the day before Christmas here in northwest PA! Usually we are buried under several feet of snow by then. But dandelions and robins tell me it is spring.
I found your channel this weekend and I can’t stop watching! You have inspired me so much and I was just about to give up on my alcohol inks. This one is gorgeous as always! I love the gold and my favorite flowers are the sweet inside out ones, I forgot the name already! 🙈
Beautiful as always! I'll be trying veronica and cone flowers and whatever else I come up with. I'm going to order the craft plastic. I've made white flowers on black cardstock but if I make a mistake it's all over. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
Dear Myriam, I happened onto one of your videos by chance, and so very happy I did. What a great birthday gift it was! Please count me among your devoted followers. You may have answered this question before, but which brand of ink has the lowest odor? My husband doesn't mind the isopropyl but, as a complete beginner, want to make sure my new passion won't be objectionable to him. Thanks very much!
Spectacular Miriam, thanks you for the encouragement! I would paint coneflowers/black eyed Susan’s along with Shasta daisies, and use my orange Posca pens, in addition to the gold. Can I use 70% Propanol, as I can’t restock my 91% alcohol during this pandemic, now? 😘✨👍🏾 I did not realize you had a FaceBook Group... doh! 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️✨👍🏾💕
Myriam, this is absolutely beautiful. Does the plastic come in blue? I was thinking it could be blue sky as a background for the white flowers. You are very talented.
Love watching and learning from you.. I've been experimenting and loving it. I have a question.. The maker of this white.. Are all their colors like this white? meaning translucent if applied like the white?..
I checked out your link and I could not find the black Grafix when looking thru your alcohol ink supplies. I love how the white flowers came out. I have so many ideas for that X-ray look. Wow!!!
Hi Darlene! The big list of supplies is only Amazon based ... I can’t add things from other sites to it unfortunately. You can always find links to anything I used in a video in the video’s description box (right below the video in question). I hope that helps a bit. 😊💕 May you and yours be happy, healthy and safe.
Ms. Myriam, you are not a pour artist. You are an outright talented, straight up artist. Most of us would love to make your pretty flowers. 😘😘
I wish I had an alarm clock with your voice saying "wake up...wake up...wake up..." LOL. You have such a soothing voice, and infectious laugh.
Sure do miss you Myriam! I watch your videos over and over. Along with being instructional and inspirational, there's something comforting about them -- maybe it's your voice and laugh. Hope you come back soon.
From random white “blobs” a beautiful garden emerges……fabulous 👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧
The white on black plus x-ray look on the flowers create such a striking effect....I absolutely adore this exquisite piece, Myriam, but why do I still marvel at your talent!!?

Question 😀 are all the colors from this maker just like the white? Meaning with they have the same effect as the white? Thank you
Hi Myriam, question for you. How do you normally seal alcohol ink paintings? Thanks in advance.
