My daughters 2005 AWD front bushes went…. We jacked the car up, scrapped out the perished rubber, made a form work on the far side and bogged up with sikka flex black 252. Waited a week to cure and she’s still going strong after another 60,000 kms Gotta love bush mechanics!!!
Well done my , LPG mechanic said to get a new one while he had it on the hoist , came back to pick it up , had a look at it and it was as thought he removed the busted rubber bush with a knife and fork or a tomahawk , your tube of black silicone would have saved the day , Upper Control arms and Blades will be my target for the black tube treatment very shortly , thanks for the good Video .
Would u know what a squealing/wet rubber rubbing together coming from rear suspension noise would be? I'm thinking it's ball joint bushings as it's got new breaks and roters. Ford territory sz 11
I was interested to see how you replaced the bush for $25.00 and I was thinking even using a stock pard bush it wouldn't be possible. Image if we had to put out vehicles over the pits every 12 months.
hey have you experienced any clucking on the rear when going over a bump or a speed hump im not shore if its the rear struts or the gas shocks im not shore at all any sugestions ??
Yeah bro getting things done, silicon is actually a great option if on a budget a lot of the drift community do it and they bang on the driveline all day. Edit: The end comment was gold 🤣
@@RossHollandAU hey bro I’ve just fucked mine I think, when I tap the accelerator abit to hard it makes quite abit of a bang after trying to throw it side ways in the dry. Not sure if falcons are common but yeah how longs your silicon lasted?
i blew my new ford bushings... thought it was the gearbox. all 3 are stuffed. happened a few days ago, im running dual wet foggers with 0.60 jets on 950psi, about to upgrade from 10lb to dual 15lb, nos is mean bro... im running 4.11:1 and truetrac diff its running pretty good. got a dedicated tank, can run e85 through my fogger if need be and run 98 on my main tank, just got it all set up. running a walbro 255 on the 2nd tank enough. im running 8.5:1 atmoic 998 bf block, takes it like no tomorrow
@Ross Holland ford told me I have to replace the driveshaft due to the u joints in the bf/fg being non-servicable. I opened them up as much as I could to fit 2mm washers inside and managed to get the u joint out with only a hydraulic press. They're solid shafts... maybe I should paint it and sell it to Ford with a racing center bearing and install circlips on the u joint haha
I’d hate to see my diff bushings after over 300,000kms. Every time I accelerate I hear the clunk, every bump, ever time I reverse and every time I brake.
Gets me going till new one arrives ..works very well ..Ive seen guys make bushes for circuit racing from similar material ..using original metal components ....ordered a better than original one for mine ..
Don't have to take the WHOLE cradle out, it's a rat-fuck of a job to do on sedans, I'd hate to think what it's like on a Terry It's not a 'fix' by any means, but it'll get you by until you have time or money to get the cradle out and fix it properly.
@@s4ss.m8 Rear one is easy but the other two on a Territory are not the cradle or the fuel tank has to be removed to get them. I replace all mine with superpro and I've never had a problem again.
@@s4ss.m8 For what I do with Territory's I would of loved front and rear solid diffs. I can't complain to much really I've got the IRS rear pretty on point now.

How long would the silicone last? Contemplating on getting new diff bushes and filling em with the silicone. Great video
With the proper stuff I mentioned you can do pretty well out of it! This stuff we'll see! Thanks mate!
What's the symptoms and sounds that come from a damaged rear bush?
@@mikeocsmall6766 a loud thud, when under acceleration or changing gears usually 👌

Well done I think it's good idea ,I own a territory and this is my first ford and this car has too many bloody bushes well done son 🤠🤠👍

hi ross great video just wondering can put silcone on two diff bush left and right side not on middle one ? cheers
You would probably have to drop the whole rear cradle for them, you may aswell get the actual bushes by that point 🤙 but it still could be possible!
hey have you experienced any clucking on the rear when going over a bump or a speed hump im not shore if its the rear struts or the gas shocks im not shore at all any sugestions ??
I've only experienced the bushes kicking around in the back, there's a lot of things that could be the culprit unfortunately 😆
Territory's clunked from factory
Hi man, Its been 7 months, how is the Bushing lasting?
Its still holding up! I have purchased the proper bushing though which I plan to fit soon😎

Yeah pretty easy job for sure! Almost as easy as plugs on a boss v8 🤣

Get a falcon wag or ute wont have to worry about shitty diff bushes
Too true!!!!
You dodgey bugger 😂😂😂😂 New bushes aren't expensive.
I blew my fronts about 30mins out of Sydney, 11hrs later in was home north of Brissie lol
🤣 haha how good is it it ! yeah don't wanna mess around with the fronts!
For $55 you could just replace it with a Polypro bush.
